Popular singer, Jubin Nautiyal and Bollywood actress, Nikita Dutta is hitting the headlines with rumours of their relationship. For the unversed, Jubin and Nikita had met for the first time on the sets of the film, Kabir Singh, where Nikita had played the character of Shahid's girlfriend, and Jubin had sung the blockbuster song, Tujhe Kitna Chahne. Since then, the duo has often been seen commenting on each other's social media posts, leading fans to believe that the two might get married soon.
It all started with a post by Nikita which had ignited the speculations about the duo's brewing chemistry. On February 26, 2022, Nikita Dutta had shared a picture of Jubin Nautiyal, mentioning that she is in love with the mountains. There was a special mention of Dehradun, as she had pinned the city in the location's tab. For the unversed, Dehradun is Jubin's home town, and this had raised many eyebrows about their brewing romance. However, what had ignited their relationship rumours was Jubin's comment on Nikita's picture, as he had dropped a mushy comment, and it could be read as:
"Didn't you forget your heart here as well."

In an interview with the Bombay Times, the popular singer, Jubin Nautiyal opened up about the rumours and shared that he and Nikita would not like to share anything about their relationship. He mentioned that the duo had been hanging out for quite some time, but he would not comment about the relationship status. He said:
"We would not like to comment on this. I have known Nikita since she did a TV show Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. I sang a song in that show and then we got to know each other well. Nikita and I were just hanging out at a cafe in Juhu for some time. I would not like to comment on whether we are dating or not, because one thing leads to another and we don't want to become the subject of gossip."
Amidst the growing closeness between the two, it is rumoured that Jubin and Nikita's families had already met. According to media reports, the actress had gone to Jubin's house in Uttarakhand, and he had gone to meet her in Mumbai to plan the wedding. Although none of them has confirmed their dating and marriage reports so far, their massive fanbase is already on cloud nine and are praying to make their relationship official.

Once in an interview with IndiaToday.in, Jubin Nautiyal had opened up about his marriage plans and had admitted that right now, he is in such a critical phase of his career that no girl in this world would live with him. The singer had also added that many people have high hopes for him, and he cannot afford to lose his concentration at this point. Explaining the reason behind his singlehood, Jubin had stated:
"I think my good luck is keeping me safe from getting hitched. I don't think any girl can stay with me right now. The kind of schedule and the kind of life I am living. It demands more than 24 hours and I just have 24. And I am just still hoping with the recordings and concerts we have to play, I think lockdown opened in a very big way for us. Completely undivided attention is required for this job. A lot of people are banking on me doing the job right so that everybody can do their job right. So, I don't want to let anybody down here and not because of a girl."
