Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are one of the much-loved couples in Bollywood, who have been by each other's sides through thick and thin. The couple, who got married in 2018, is now on their parenting journey. Ranveer is currently making headlines for his outstanding performance in the movie Dhurandhar. Amid this, a veteran journalist shared some unknown details from her meet-up with the actor and his wife, Deepika. She met the duo for an interview, and what happened afterward led the interview to be cut short.
Veteran journalist Bhawana Soumaya recently sat for an interview with Women’s Social Corner, during which she recalled interviewing Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for their film Bajirao Mastani. The journalist mentioned that Ranveer was in a bad mood for a particular reason, and his behaviour toward her was not good.

The journalist stated that Deepika was aware of Ranveer's misbehaviour and was trying to make up for it. The journalist revealed that she had tried to indulge him, thinking she was older, and to forgive his behaviour, but the actor remained in a bad mood. The journalist could be quoted as saying:
"I went to interview Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for Bajirao Mastani and for some reason, Ranveer wasn’t in a good mood that day and his behaviour with me was not okay. Deepika was conscious of this and she was trying to make up. I was also trying to indulge him thinking that I am older, I should forgive this behaviour, but he was still in a bad mood."

Bhawana Soumaya revealed that after this happened, she and her team had to cut the interview short. Following this, the journalist contacted Ranveer Singh and made her position clear. In the interview, she said she told Ranveer that her career was older than his and that she had seen many people rise and fall.

Soumaya stated that just because she had an altercation with Ranveer, that doesn't mean that she would criticize his film, and by that she meant that if he would do a good job in movies, she would definitely credit him, but if something otherwise happens, then she would surely pen down what she would feel. Somaya could be quoted as saying:

"I told him my career is more than your age. I have seen many superstars come up and vanish, I have seen them fall down, get back up, that’s all okay. But whatever has happened today, I am not going to hold it against you but tomorrow when your film releases. Don’t think that just because we had an altercation today, I will criticise your film. If you have done good work, you will receive due credit but if you have not done well then I won’t think about how you will perceive this. I will write what I feel."
Ranveer Singh grabbed the attention with his role in Aditya Dhar's movie, Dhurandhar. The actor was seen in the role of 'Hamza Ali'. From action, dialogue delivery, and every corner of his part in the movie was extremely glamorous. For the unversed, Ranveer will reprise his role as 'Hamza' in part 2 of the movie, which is slated to be released in March 2026. Part 2 will be all about 'Hamza's past life and how, from a criminal, he ended up being a spy, on a mission to Pakistan's Lyari. He killed 'Rehman Dakait', and from the list of targets, Part 2 is going to be all about 'Bade Sahab'.
