According to investigators, Joseph later admitted during a recorded phone call that he had touched the child over her clothes and accepted that his intentions were not right. He is now in custody in Arkansas and is waiting to be moved to Florida for further legal steps. As of now, he has not been released on bond. A family member, speaking to Daily Mail, expressed how difficult the past few days have been:

“As you can imagine, this has been a lot to take in over the past few days. Everyone is just trying to process it.”
