Joe Buck has been all over the headlines ever since it was announced that the ESPN announcer will be joining Dancing With the Stars as a guest judge. While the news has come as a delightful surprise for both sports and DWTS fans, there has also been curiosity around who Joe Buck is and his personal life. So, as he prepares to groove with the beats in the latest episode of the reality show, let's take a look at his wife, Michelle Beisner-Buck.

Who is Joe Buck's wife, Michelle Beisner-Buck?

Over the past 20 years, Joe Buck has established himself as ESPN's Monday Night Football announcer. He has also worked in baseball and golf broadcasting, and he will now add guest judging for Dancing with the Stars' Super Bowl Night to the list. While his professional life is soaring, his personal life is no less. He is married to Michelle Beisner-Buck, who too is an ESPN reporter and once a Denver Broncos cheerleader.

Yes! You heard that right. While Michelle Beisner-Buck is now an NFL features reporter for ESPN, she was once a cheerleader. According to her company profile, she joined the network in 2014 and has written numerous player profiles and other NFL feature stories. Prior to that, Michelle worked as a studio host and field reporter for NFL Network from 2006 to 2014.

She also co-hosted ESPN's The Russo and Steele Automotive Auctions and reported for the Champ Car World Series. However, before Michelle Beisner-Buck committed to journalism, she was an actor and dancer. From 1997 to 2003, she was a member of the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. She even served as the captain for five of those years.

How did Michelle Beisner-Buck meet Joe Buck?

Joe Buck crossed paths with Michelle Beisner-Buck after his divorce from Ann Archambault. They were married from 1993 to 2011 and welcomed two daughters, Natalie and Trudy, together. As for how he met his wife, Joe once recalled on The Pivot podcast that he saw her while she was working for the NFL Network. He recalled how she was standing against a wall and immediately thought he was going to be looking for her. He was quoted as saying:

"When I saw her, she was working for the NFL Network at the time and was standing against a wall, and I was walking out of Mile High Stadium, and I saw her and I was like, 'Mmm. I think I'm gonna stalk that person,' and I did."

Joe Buck recalled that he had asked his friend and fellow sports commentator, Rich Eisen, about Michelle Beisner-Buck. However, at the time he told Joe that Michelle had a boyfriend. Nonetheless, the ESPN announcer was completely unbothered, which surprised him too. He recalled that he was never that confident, but when it came to pursuing his now-wife, he found it, and Rich played the matchmaker.

Rich Eisen played a game with Michelle Beisner-Buck, telling her that somebody in the booth wanted her number. To which she asked him who it was before guessing everyone in the room. When everyone was disqualified, she said, "Well, please don't tell me it's Joe Buck." Rich grew curious about Michelle's response and asked her why she said that.

Michelle, being the absolutely blunt person she is, said, "You know what, I don't know. I just know that I saw him in a commercial and he looks like a smug a**hole." Rich Eisen told her that wasn't the case and encouraged her to talk to him, and the rest is history. Michelle Beisner-Buck made him want to get married again. She and Joe Buck tied the knot in April 2014, after getting engaged in August 2013.

The couple went on to build a happy home. Michelle Beisner-Buck and Joe Buck soon welcomed two beautiful children, Blake and Wyatt.
