The popular television actress, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry with her impressive performances in various TV shows. However, she is mostly recognized for her portrayal of 'Mrs. Roshan Sodhi' in the hit sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The actress is in the headlines nowadays after she accused the producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Asit Kumarr Modi, of sexual harassment. Not only this, but Jennifer has also announced her exit from the show and her explosive interview is doing rounds in the entertainment industry as of now.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala opened up about the shocking things that the producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Asit Kumarr Modi had told her while they were in Singapore. The actress admitted that Asit invited her to his room and told her to have some whisky together.
"Tumhari room partner toh chali jaati hai, tum mere room mein aa jaya karo, whiskey peete hain.'

Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala also shared that Asit Kumarr Modi told her that her lips were beautiful and that he wished to grab and kiss them. The actress was staying with a female friend, and Asit even told her to come into his room after her friend went out. Recalling the same, she said:
"Tumhare honth bahut sundar lag rahe hain, pakadkar kiss kar loon. Tum akele room mein kya karti ho? Mere room mein aa jao. "
Further, in the same interview, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala also revealed that when she wanted to quit the show after whatever had happened in Singapore, the operations head, Sohail Ramani and executive producer, Jatin Bajaj told her that they would put her four months' salary on hold.
"I told Mr. Sohail, who's our operation head that I want to leave the show because a lot of inappropriate things were happening but I was threatened that if I leave the show, my 4 months' salary will be put on hold."
Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala further shared that the duo of Sohail Ramani and Jatin Bajaj tortured her by threatening her that she wouldn’t get any work in the television industry if she chose to walk out. Recalling the tragic incident, she said:
"Sohail and Jatin, both know everything that Asit Modi told me in Singapore. I was told that your money would be kept on hold, you will be replaced, you’ve grown old and won’t get any work outside."

Jennifer's decision to leave the show has sent shockwaves throughout the television industry, as fans and colleagues alike are trying to come to terms with the news. The reason behind her departure, however, is even more devastating. In another interview with ETimes, Jennifer revealed that she had been subjected to harassment in the past by Asit Modi, but chose to ignore it to avoid losing work. However, she confirmed that now she had taken strict legal action against the three individuals, Asit Modi, Sohail Ramani, and Jatin Bajaj, by filing a complaint with the appropriate government authorities.
