In turn, the Oscar-winning actress explained that she felt a need to speak up and protect her privacy.

Jennifer Lawrence recently sat down for a podcast interview with Call Me Daddy. Among other things, she recalled an incident when people who were not authorized to be present were allowed into the room while she was filming an intimate scene. So, the actress directly confronted the executives managing the production and clearly expressed that she won't be able to work in the circumstances.
Although Jennifer did not reveal the film or the maker's identity, she explained that the experiment made her take a firm stand on set boundaries. Jennifer also emphasized how it can be difficult for less-established performers to challenge the people in powerful positions. She also pointed out that an 18-year-old actress who is new to the industry might feel the pressure to accept this uncomfortable situation. Otherwise, she will risk being labeled as someone difficult to work with.
Therefore, Jennifer raised the issue to ensure that performers don't have to choose between protecting their privacy and maintaining their professional reputation. Jennifer did not name the project involved in his incident, which has left fans to speculate about the production.
However, the actress has previously shot nude or intimate scenes in multiple movies. Some of them include Red Sparrow in 2018, No Hard Feelings in 2023, and Die My Love in 2025. She played a Russian ballerina in Red Sparrow who is hired for a brutal intelligence program.
Jennifer once mentioned that it was difficult for her to agree to shoot nude scenes after some intimate pictures of her were stolen and leaked in 2014. However, she decided to perform the scenes on her own terms to regain the sense of control over her body.
Jennifer Lawrence also shot for nude beach scenes in the comedy film No Hard Feelings. In fact, she recently featured in Die My Love with Robert Pattinson. It is a psychological drama by Lynne Ramsay, where she praised Robert for helping her feel comfortable during the filming of intimate scenes in the movie.
