Jennifer Aniston Makes A Rare Comment On Ex-Husband, Brad Pitt Amid His Strained Bond With His Kids

Jennifer Aniston recently surprised her fans by making a rare public comment about her ex-husband, Brad Pitt. The comment was made in the context of his memorable guest appearance on her hit sitcom, Friends. She discussed the same during a conversation with her former co-star, Lisa Kudrow. Although it has been more than two decades since the duo separated, their bond continues to spark interest in fans. In fact, her latest comments come at a time when Brad is already making headlines for his strained bond with his kids.

Jennifer Aniston recently sat down for a conversation with her Friends co-star, Lisa Kudrow, for Variety's Actors on Actors. During the chat, Lisa recalled Brad Pitt's 2001 guest appearance on the show. She mentioned his nervousness. In turn, Jennifer laughed at them and said, "I know. How funny," while recalling their famous Thanksgiving episode. They also discussed the other stars who made guest appearances on the show, such as Bruce WillisWillis, Julia Roberts, Isabella Rossellini, and Sean Penn. She also explained that many guest stars faced challenges when working with them. 

Jennifer added that she found it fascinating how the major movie stars felt intimidated by the unique style of their sitcom. For those unaware, Brad's guest appearance is still one of the most memorable celebrity cameos in the history of Friends. In the episode, he played 'Will Colbert,' a former classmate of Jennifer's character, 'Rachel'. He always harboured a long-standing dislike for her character. The cameo was even more famous because the former couple were married at that time. 

Why did Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt end their marriage? 

Although Jennifer recently made lighthearted comments, it also reminded fans about their highly publicised marriage and divorce. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston got married in July 2000 and soon became Hollywood's most admired couple. However, after nearly five years together, they announced their separation in January 2005. The duo released a joint statement clarifying that they did not separate for the reasons mentioned in the media. Since then, both have spoken at different platforms about the emotional challenges around their marriage. 

Jennifer later addressed speculation that she chose her career over children, calling it completely false. Instead, she revealed that she was undergoing unsuccessful fertility treatments before her separation. She also mentioned that the intense media attention around the split was "jarring" and left some emotional scars. On the other hand, Brad acknowledged that he was not completely present during certain parts of this marriage. But despite the painful breakup, they have rebuilt their friendship over time.

Later, Brad's appearance on Friends made them one of the most loved pairs in Hollywood.
