The influencer, who is also an author, didn't reveal what happened at the time; however, they later shared a statement saying they had decided to end their marriage.
Brian and Jen got married back in 2012, and August 2026 was supposed to mark the 14th year of the couple's marriage. As their marriage ended, Jen didn't let the hardship hit her; rather, she celebrated the day as her newfound independence. Taking to her social media handle, Jen posted a long note, wherein she bashed her estranged husband for cheating on her.

On her social media handle, Jen Hamilton shared a series of photos, wherein she could be seen with her female friends. The photos are examples of her moving forward in life, leaving behind the messy past and heartbreak that she had to endure. She revealed that August 4, 2026, was going to be a day which would mark her 14th wedding anniversary with her husband. And according to her, it's the first thing that hit her since her separation, after finding out about her husband's infidelity.
In the same caption, Jen revealed that she flipped the story and celebrated the day with her work friends. The influencer revealed everything to her friends and burned her ex's stuff. In the same note, she further made a shocking revelation, stating that her husband was cheating on her with a 56-year-old woman.
The author tagged the day as 'Jendependence' Day and said she's grateful that she has a bright future ahead and won't have to spend her days waiting for a better moment. An excerpt from Jen's note could be read as:
"I burned the bedsheets which held years of my own personal repression and the lies he told. He cannot hurt me anymore. Boooo to cheating on your loving and faithful wife with a grandma. No offense to grandmas. She just is one."

Jen Hamilton and Brian Hamilton met at a summer camp in Northern California, where they were working with terminally and chronically ill children. Back then, the couple attended the same university, and soon they fell in love. After dating for a while, Jen and Brian got married in 2012.
To note, the couple also had a brief breakup before their wedding. It was earlier revealed by Jen that they thought they would not be able to end up together; however, destiny brought them together. Jen and Brian are parents to two kids.
It was just two weeks back that Jen came forward to reply to the trolls, who questioned her about sharing details about her personal life on social media. She mentioned that only she knows what she is going through and that it's her way of dealing with this. In the same post, Jen revealed that her husband was living a double life behind her back while she was working hard to take off the burden of him. She also revealed that she got to know about the cheating after she dropped the crying video back in June 2026.
