But Mahhi Vij's husband, Jay Bhanushali has broken the stereotype as he actively helps in nurturing his little baby, Tara. In many media interactions, Jay had shared that he wants to help Mahhi in bringing up their child and he never shies away from praising his wife.
On February 11, 2020, Jay took to his Instagram handle and shared a video of his daughter, Tara and Mahhi. In the video, we can see Mahhi making Tara laugh out loud. Along with it, Jay wrote, "The best feeling when you see your baby smile and laugh out loud...the best mother @tarajaybhanushali could have asked.. always around her and taking care of her at midnight. On August 21, 2019, Mahhi Vij and her husband, Jay Bhanushali were blessed with a little angel, whom they had named, Tara. A week ago, Tara had completed five-months and her doting mother, Mahhi had shared an adorable video. Along with it, she had written, "You are 6 months old now I remember your first scream as you enter the world I remember the very second you were in my arms. And now you are here, so smart so curious grabbing your bottle to try to be too independent I am incredibly proud of you. My warrior these 6 months I thank god every single day for giving me you. Thank you for making me your mumma I love you. I have a best friend who will make me feel special and loved. Life starts now."
In an interview with the IANS, Jay had talked about becoming a father of a baby girl and had shared, "No relationship in the world can match the sanctity of a father-daughter relationship. I wish that my wife gives birth to a baby girl. I have no gender preference and it is not that I won’t like it if it’s a boy. It’s just that I have experienced the father-son connect with my dad, and now, I want to see how a daughter bonds with her dad."
