The critically acclaimed filmmaker, Atlee Kumar popularly known as Atlee has directed many films, including Mersal, Bigil, Jawan, and many others. Coming to his personal life, it was on December 16, 2022, when Atlee and his wife, Priya announced their first pregnancy after 8 years of their happy married life. Afterwards, on January 31, 2023, the madly-in-love couple welcomed a baby boy into their lives, whom they named Meer. Now, as the little munchkin completed 365 days on Earth, his parents took him to Disneyland and posted lovely glimpses with a heartfelt note.
Taking to his IG handle, Atlee shared a cutesy photo with his wife, Priya Mohan and their son, Meer. In the love-filled photo, we can spot the couple posing in front of Disneyland in Paris as they went there to celebrate their baby boy's first birthday. While Priya held Meer in her arms, Atlee held two huge-sized balloons featuring Mickey Mouse and Tiger King. Moreover, Priya looked beautiful in a pink-hued co-ord set, the filmmaker, on the other hand, opted for an all-black ensemble. However, it was Meer, who looked cute as a button in a white puller jacket teamed with denim pants and a black cap.

Further, the doting daddy also penned a lovely note along with the lovely photos. In the caption of the collaborative post with Priya, Atlee mentioned how they feel blessed upon the arrival of Meer into their lives. Moreover, the filmmaker is in complete disbelief that his son is already one year old. Thus, penning down his emotions, he wrote:
"Happy birthday to our little one and a new god sent friend. Cant beleive ur already 1. Thank you god & love u so much for this beautiful little gift. Our little bundle of joy is turning one today. Happy happy birthday our dear little MEER. God bless, mumma and papa loves you to the maximum forever and ever. May god bless you with loads and loads of smiles and happiness. Atlee Kumar was once asked about Shah Rukh Khan’s reaction to his pregnancy statement during one of the pre-release events of the film, Jawan. Atlee's revelation not only got the loudest cheer but also made his wife, Priya emotional. In a video from the pre-release event, the filmmaker mentioned the things SRK told him when he informed the actor about his wife’s pregnancy. The filmmaker shared that King Khan congratulated him and told him not to be worried about their film, Jawan’s shooting. Atlee added that Shah Rukh also advised him to spend as much time as possible with his wife, making Priya, who was sitting in the audience, teary-eyed.

Earlier, on May 7, 2023, Atlee and his wife, Priya took to their respective Instagram handles and posted an adorable picture from their visit to a temple. In the picture, the newbie parents looked super happy upon visiting the holy shrine with their kid. Although the baby boy's face was covered, but his tiny hands with folded fists were enough to melt everyone’s hearts. Along with the picture, Atlee and Priya also penned a lovely caption and announced the name of their baby boy. Their caption could be read as:
"Yes the name is MEER Very happy to be revealing our little angels name."
