And an exactly similar thing happened with Bollywood actor, Farhan Akhtar, who fell in love with model-turned-actress, Shibani Dandekar. The couple has been giving us #CoupleGoals with their cute social media PDAs to romantic dinner dates. While the duo has never accepted their relationship in public, they never even denied it. Their Instagram feeds are filled with mushy pictures and cute love notes and we cannot help but gush over their love. We remember once in a media interaction, Shibani had shared that she doesn't need to give any statement regarding her relationship as the pictures speak for itself. A few weeks ago, the rumours of Farhan and Shibani's marriage is abuzz in B-town.
Recently, Farhan Akhtar's father, Javed Akhtar opened about the same. In an interview with ETimes, Javed shared that he heard it for the first time. He said that he was with Farhan on his birthday, and he didn’t tell him anything about this. He further shared that children can be very secretive, so he doesn't know what may happen.
Coming back to Farhan and Shibani's wedding rumours, a Mumbai Mirror report had stated that they are planning to tie the knot in the year 2020. A source close to the couple had shared, "The plan is to get married towards the year-end, after the release of Farhan’s next, Toofan. On Farhan's birthday, Shibani had shared a long note for him. She had posted a cute picture with him and had written, "Happy birthday my better half .. thank you for all the magic, laughter and love you have brought to my life. You are one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met and the world really needs more like you! I’ve never met anyone as kind, as attentive, as selfless, as brave and as focused as you. Just being around you has taught me so much ( mainly patience!!) You inspire me! thank you for including me in every part of your life, for making me feel so special and for always making time for ‘us’ !! Having said that you do need to ‘unclench’ a little. be more ‘free-flowing’. In an interview with the Mid-Day about her relationship and how she never felt the need to make an official announcement for the same. Shibani had shared, “I am not secretive, but I don't feel the need to say things out loud. I don't need to make an announcement about who I'm dating. It's up to me to decide when and what I want to share my personal life and it is up to the audience to decide how they look at it. How much information I want to put out in the public domain is my prerogative.”
Earlier, Farhan was married to celebrity hairstylists, Adhuna Bhabani, but destiny had other plans for the two and they parted ways back in 2017. Now, as per the reports, they both have moved on in their lives as Adhuna is rumoured to be dating Nicolo Morea, who is the brother of Bollywood actor, Dino Morea. We can now safely say some people meet to touch each other’s life for a short period of time and it doesn’t mean it’s the end of their story!
