The leader of the Indian cricket team's bowling attack, Jasprit Bumrah and TV presenter, Sanjana Ganeshan's pre-wedding had taken place in Goa in the presence of their families and close friends. The guest list for the wedding had included only 20 people, and they were asked not to carry any phones. It was on March 15, 2021, when Jasprit Bumrah had finally shared his mesmerisingly beautiful wedding pictures on his IG handle. The pictures had seemed to be taken from some fairy dreamland backdrop. When Bumrah was released from the squad in the middle of the fourth and final Test series against England, cricket fanatics were puzzled, as no one had even the slightest idea about his marriage. A source close to the ANI had confirmed that Bumrah had taken leave for his wedding.
On March 19, 2021, Jasprit Bumrah took to his Twitter handle and shared some dreamy, magical pictures from his wedding reception. In the first picture, Bumrah and his wife, Sanjana Ganesan can be seen walking, holding hands and looking very much in love. Bumrah donned a black tux while Sanjana's beautiful purple off-shoulder gown paired with a silver chain stole the show. The second picture was a black and white one, where Bumrah and Sanjana can be seen lost in each other. While Bumrah captioned his post as "The last few days have been nothing short of absolutely magical! We are so grateful for all the love & wishes we've received. Thank you." His wife, Sanjana wrote, "Overwhelmed by all the love we've been showered with over the last few days. We've been reading all your messages & wishes with the biggest smiles on our faces! Thank you." For the wedding, Sanjana Ganeshan had made for a dreamy Sabyasachi bride, as she had donned a pastel pink lehenga with heavy, intricate silk floss embroidery. The overall meticulous rose patterns on the lehenga had made for a fairytale themed wedding. The beautiful bride had accessorised her look with Sabyasachi's signature heritage jewellery made with uncut diamonds, tourmalines and emeralds, set in 18k gold. Sanjana's heavy matha patti, oversized nath with beaded chain and heavy, statement jhumkaas had given her the look of an Indian princess! She had teamed her bangles in the golden and maroon shade and had kept her makeup to a bare minimum with a nude shade lipstick touch. Her light pink coloured net dupatta and golden kaleeras had accentuated the bride's overall look and beauty.

Kunal Rawal had designed Jasprit Bumrah’s sangeet outfit. The designer had posted pictures from the couple’s pre-wedding ceremony and describing the ensemble, he had captioned the photos as “Jasprit Bumrah celebrates his sangeet in our signature deconstructed sherwani in midnight navy adorned with custom-made Kunal Rawal Ashoka buttons and bespoke patent black brogues to complete the look.” Sanjana Ganesan had chosen a rich purple lehenga with gotta patti hand embroidery by Anita Dongre for the sangeet ceremony. She had paired an exquisite jadau jewellery from Pinkcity by Anita Dongre and had completed her look with handcrafted shoes by Aprajita Toor.
