Singer Jasmine Sandlas' old statement from an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia surfaced, in which she said she didn't drink until the age of 22 or 23. Her dad used to drink, and when life hit her, she looked for some kind of support. Jasmine confessed to drinking when a lot of things had piled up in her life, and she said:
"When life really hits you, you look for some kind of support. I do regret some things that I chose to do in those 2-3 years… A lot of things piled up – I was famous on one side, I was feeling certain things, my family dynamics broke apart, my father was no more, and I was successful. I drank more than I should have, and I regret it, but it was important for me at that time.”
Singer Jasmine Sandlas also revealed that she had a father who was an alcoholic. She used to contemplate whether she would start drinking or not. However, she had done both of them. Jasmine knew that alcohol was bad and that her friends started drinking at the same age, at 17 or 18.
Jasmine Sandlas had also reflected on her journey and stated that, growing up, she had gone through certain phases. Childhood and figuring herself out as a girl. She grew into an adult woman, an artist, and an elder daughter. Jasmine stated being a child of Punjabi American immigrant parents. There has been a lot in her journey that she has experienced that was not easy.
At the moment, Jasmine is enjoying the success of Dhurandhar The Revenge, as she has sung many songs. Jasmine had collaborated with Shashwat Sachdev, the composer of Dhurandhar. For her, life was not at all easy, as everything was on one side and trauma on the other hand. Remembering the early experiences she had at her house, Jasmine recalled:
"I had some heartbreaks in childhood from my parents. They broke my heart unknowingly many times, so there is resentment. I love them, but when a child’s heart breaks, it remains broken. When you don’t have a safe space to run to, you look for a home in everything like crazy. I did that all my life, just yearning and finding home.”
She had also added to getting a whooping for everything. She used to be very mischievous in the search for adventure. Jasmine confessed to running around the streets, messing up in class and at school and also confessed to being a good kid. Jasmine confessed to being a good kid, a good student, but had no interest in studies. She used to think, where is the fun? Where is her enjoyment?
On the personal front, Jasmine Sandlas gave her fans the cutest surprise when she announced her engagement to Shekhar Chaudhary. This was during her highly anticipated The Dream Girl India Tour, which took place in Delhi. Jasmine was on stage and introduced Shekhar as, 'This is my man'.
For those who do not know, fans have often seen Shekhar accompanying Jasmine on tours and also visiting religious places. He was also seen in many of her Instagram posts and behind-the-scenes clips, though the pair never had it confirmed till the longest time ago that they were in a relationship.
