Alison Marks graduated from Northwestern University and holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy. As per her LinkedIn, she attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she studied kinesiology and exercise science in 2017. Following this, Alison Marks earned her graduation degree in 2021 and got a license as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.

Following her graduation, Alison Marks started working in W.B. Carrell Memorial Clinic in Dallas, Texas. According to the reports, she now runs a boutique physical therapy practice in Westchester. Before working as a therapist, Alison worked as a rehabilitation aide at Athletico in Chicago, where she assisted other therapists and patients. According to her site, her passion is to integrate physical therapy-based methods with conventional strength training to provide a more personalised and effective treatment plan.

Jalen Brunson and Alison Marks are high-school sweethearts, and they attended Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois. The couple started dating in 2013. The couple's social media is filled with glimpses of their school days, featuring their prom, their birthdays and more. Alison and Jalen have been together for all these years, and their love story is something very sweet.

After high school, Jalen went on to attend Villanova University, where he played Division 1 basketball, while Alison stayed near home and attended the University of Illinois, and during that time, Jalen and Alison were in a long-distance relationship. After several years, in 2022, came the moment that marked the first day of a forever journey. It was Jalen who proposed marriage to Alison back in 2022, and the approach was meaningful in every way possible. It was on a special day in 2022 when Jalen took Alison to her alma mater and popped the question to her on the basketball court of their high school gym.

Surrounded by candles and rose petals, Jalen knelt down on one knee and asked whether she would marry him. Well, her response was 'yes'. Two years later, in 2023, Jalen Bruson got married to Alison Marks at the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago. The wedding was a private affair, and the couple only wanted their close one to join the ceremony. Well, although it was a private ceremony, they made it a big party, as they wanted it to be a celebratory one.

For her wedding, Dr Alison Marks wore a custom Eva Lendel gown, while Jalen complemented her with a custom black tux and velvet loafers. Alison had been through every up and down in Jalen's life, including the time he signed a USD 104 million, four-year contract with the New York Knicks in June 2022. Well, at their wedding, Jalen acknowledged the same and mentioned that Alison has always been by his side, and he's just that lucky that his ladylove has been by his side. He said:

"She’s always been by my side and I’m lucky to have her. I’m excited to celebrate this special milestone with all of our closest friends and family, who have been so supportive over the many years of our relationship."

A year after their wedding in 2024, Jalen and Alison welcomed their baby girl, Jordyn James Brunson, into their lives. They kept the news hush-hush and announced the same only after their baby was born. Alison, in an interview with PEOPLE, spoke about her experience of pregnancy and mentioned that she wanted to apply the AMB technique to stay active during that time.

She also spoke about her motherhood journey and stated that she likes to keep it mostly on the calmer side. Speaking about Jalen, Alison mentioned that from the beginning, he wanted to be a basketball player, and would often say that one day, he would make it. Well, although with his hard work, he achieved what he achieved, he still maintains his goofy self at home as a husband and a father to his kid. She said:

"He has always been incredibly serious about being a basketball player. When we started dating in high school, he was like, 'I'm letting you know, my priority is basketball. It means a lot to me, and I want to go far.'"

Alison mentioned that Jalen doesn't bring the field to the home, and they don't really discuss mostly about games, rather, the player just leaves it to 'good game' or 'bad game' and nothing much. She could be quoted as saying:
