Ishaan Khatter shares an amicable bond with his half-brother, Shahid Kapoor and has always praised him for supporting him in every decision. Just two films old, Ishaan has already proved his acting skills but the one, who had inspired him to become an actor is none other than his brother, Shahid Kapoor. From career to dating advice, Shahid has always played the role of bade bhaiya perfectly. For Ishaan, Shahid is not just his brother but also his mentor and somebody he always looks up to.
Shahid Kapoor is quite active on social media and recently the actor took to his IG handle and tried the ‘blue eyes filter’. Sharing a video by giving glimpses of himself with his blue eyes, Shahid wrote, “Shabbakhair”. On his video, his brother, Ishaan Khatter’s comment will make you ROFL. Being at his witty best, Ishaan wrote, “Aadhi raat ko blue eyes se hypnotise.”
Ishaan had managed to impress the audience with his breakthrough performance in his debut film, Beyond The Clouds. Ishaan is considered as a very passionate actor and after his film, Dhadak, he was rated among one of the top newcomers of Bollywood. Ishaan looks up to his brother for professional advice and had revealed that it is his elder brother, who had given him the honest advice of staying true to one’s performance in front of the camera. On February 25, 2020, Shahid Kapoor had turned 39 and his chhote miyan, Ishaan Khatter had wished him in an adorable way. He had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared some candid pictures of Shahid. Along with the picture, he had written a note which could be read as “OG Mere #bademiya Happy budddayyyy bhaijaaaaaaan.”
In an interactive session with India Film Project, Ishaan had revealed the best advice he had received from his brother, Shahid and had stated, "My brother (Shahid Kapoor) once told me that the moment between action and cut is yours, everything else is secondary. He said find that honest moment and, while everything else could help, finding your honest moment will let you live it in front of the camera."
On July 7, 2020, when Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had completed five years of married life, heartfelt wishes had poured in on social media with some unseen pictures of the couple. Ishaan Khatter too had posted a five-star anniversary post for his bhaiya and bhabhi, where Shahid could be seen giving a sweet peck on Mira's forehead as they posed in traditional outfits on the terrace of their residence. Ishaan had written, “Turned 5!” followed by a heart emoticon and five stars atop it. Mira had reposted the picture and had revealed that Ishaan is the only one who calls her 'bhabhi'.
