Isha mentioned that after that chapter of her life ended, she has been trying to rebuild herself. Regarding her desire to connect with people and show them her real self, Isha Rikhi told Moneycontrol:
"Look, before my relationship, I was already working enough to make my name. But yes, I have to admit that my priority then was very different from what it is today. I am trying to rebuild myself. I just want people to know who I am."
Isha clarified her statements about Badshah on Bigg Boss 20. She said that she was respectful toward her estranged husband and never took his name on the show. She added that she never encouraged any housemate to take his name during conversations and never even reacted aggressively when his name came up. Even during the interview, Isha referred to Badshah as "he/his" rather than taking his name.
Isha Rikhi further stated that even if she cryptically said certain things about Badshah on the show, she never did it in a demeaning way. The Punjabi artist mentioned that she had only spoken about her estranged husband in a casual, light-hearted manner and never said anything that could tarnish his reputation. "Even on the show, I never showed any aggression when his [Badshah] name was taken or never did I say 'dare you take his name' or anything like that. Even if I might have said something, it was in a fun and casual way and nothing serious.
