One of the richest men in Asia, Mukesh Ambani’s daughter is getting married to the ‘man of her dreams’, Anand Piramal in a big fat pre-wedding and wedding in Udaipur and Mumbai, respectively. Yesterday (December 07, 2018), we caught a glimpse of the humongous pre-wedding set-up, which is in Udaipur’s Lake Pichola. A source had shared, “The family has requested a floral set up on the vessel holding the idol of Shrinathji. Dancers will perform on the floating stage, in keeping with Indian customs and traditions. The hosts also plan to conduct a maha aarti to seek blessings of their lord.”

By the way, don’t you want to know the whereabouts of Isha and Anand’s wedding? So here you go! The Ambanis released an official statement which revealed the whereabouts of the wedding festivities. The Ambanis will host a special ‘Anna Seva’, wherein they will “serve food to 5100 people 3 times a day from 7-10 December. The statement could be read as, “As a mark of respect and gratitude to the city of Udaipur, and to seek their blessings for the upcoming wedding of their daughter, the family has commenced a special “Anna Seva” - taking up the auspicious task of feeding 5100 people (majority of them with special abilities) three times everyday from 7th to 10th December, to coincide with the pre-wedding functions of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal on 8th & 9th December. Family members, including Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Ajay and Swati Piramal, Isha and Anand were present at this Anna Seva function, serving people and interacting with them. The Anna Seva functions will continue for four days, from 7th to 10th December and will be performed three times a day at the Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur." The statement could be further read as, “In addition, the pre-wedding festivities will also see the setting up of a specially curated exhibit called the Swadesh Bazaar that will showcase 108 traditoinal Indian Crafts and art forms from all different regions of the country for the national and international guests. Presenting the art will be master craftsmen and craftswomen themselves, who are keeping these traditional arts alive. Creating an interesting experience as also an immersion into India’s cultural heritage. Swadesh Bazaar is a unique concept to encourage the craftsmanship of traditional Indian artisans, especially for a lot of indigenous crafts that need conservation and revival and have been supported by Reliance Foundation over the years. The Foundation aims to broaden and deepen its support to the goals of Swadesh Bazaar on a bigger and more sustainable scale in future.”
The statement concluded with, “From the rich Kanjeevaram, exclusive Patola, intricate Chikankari to fine Bandhani, exhibits cover over 30 types of textiles and weaves. Depicting folktales and local legends, artists will showcase ancient painting forms like Gond, Madhubani, Phad, Warli and Thangka. Weavers, potters and sculptures from all around the country will make this a mega-celebration of art and culture. This unique exhibit has not just provided livelihoods to thousands of such artisans, but also giving an opportunity to showcase their rare works from every nook and corner of India, for people’s interest, appreciation and support.”
For more details on Isha and Anand’s pre-wedding festivities which will kickstart from December 08, 2018, close to 40 chartered flights are scheduled to for its availability for the wedding. Apart from the flights, the Ambanis and Piramals have booked all the five-star hotels of the city and over a thousand luxurious cars (Jaguars, Porches, Mercedes, Audis and BMWs) will be made available at their guest's disposal! After the pre-wedding festivities, the entire troupe of families will fly back to Mumbai, where their wedding is all set to take place at the Ambani household in Antilia. Recently, Isha’s parents recently hosted a grah shanti puja for the soon-to-be bride and she looked stunning, donning a Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble. The ace designer shared a few beautiful pictures of the billionaire daughter and captioned the pictures as, “Isha Ambani @_iiishmagish for her Graha Shanti Pooja in a custom hand-painted, hand-embroidered tilla-work lehenga and antique bandhej dupatta.
