The ‘B-I-G’ Ambani-Piramal wedding is finally here, and we can’t keep calm. Isha Ambani, the daughter of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, is all set to tie the knot on December 12, 2018, with fiancé, Anand Piramal, son of Swati and Ajay Piramal. Meanwhile, the pre-wedding ceremonies are going on in full swing in Udaipur, our social media timelines have been flooded with pictures and videos of the bride and groom, Isha and Anand. A latest picture offers a ‘sight to behold’ photograph wherein the bride-to-be Isha can be seen entering the after-party venue with the two most special men in her life – her father, Mukesh Ambani and her soon-to-be-husband, Anand Piramal. While Isha is twinning with her father in pink ensembles, Anand is looking dapper in cream coloured sherwani. Here’s the picture:
On December 08, 2018, Isha and Anand's pre-wedding festivities began with the Sandhya Maha Aarti for which, a 35 feet statue of Srinathji has been set up in Udaipur. A source had earlier shared, “The family has requested a floral set up on the vessel holding the idol of Shrinathji. Dancers will perform on the floating stage, in keeping with Indian customs and traditions. A few hours back we had shared the first look of soon-to-be-bride, Isha Ambani and her soon-to-be-bhabhi, Shloka Mehta, fiancée of Akash Ambani. A saree draping artist/stylist from Mumbai, Kalpana Shah shared a picture with Isha and Shloka on her Instagram handle and captioned it, "Beauty Glowing, Drape Flowing, Isha looks Mind-Blowing! Kalpana Shah Styling @ambani.isha for her wedding preparatory events. Speaking of who all are attending the celebrations of the union of Ambani and Piramal, here’s what a source revealed to BollywoodShaadis, “Global corporate leaders, including steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, BP group chief executive Bob Dudley, 21st Century Fox CEO James Murdoch and Diageo CEO Ivan Menezes, among others, descended on Udaipur to attend the wedding festivities of the daughter of Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), along with politicians, Bollywood stars and other prominent personalities.”
The source further revealed, “Other high-profile corporate leaders attending the wedding festivities include Khalid Al-Falih, chairman of Saudi Aramco; Bill Winters, CEO, Standard Chartered Bank; WPP founder Martin Sorell; Kenneth Hitchner, chairman and chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs in Asia Pacific ex-Japan; Nicolas Aguzin, chairman and CEO, JP Morgan Asia Pacific; Farhan Faruqui, group executive international, ANZ; Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum; Arianna Huffington, founder of The Huffington Post and CEO of Thrive Global; and Rajeev Suri, president and CEO of Nokia.”
For the uninitiated ones, Ambanis and Piramals have known each other for over four decades now. Anand and Isha had been good friends themselves before Anand proposed her for marriage. Anand, 33, proposed to his lady-love Isha, 26, in early May 2018, in Mahabaleshwar and she said a ‘yes’! Isha’s twin brother Akash Ambani and fiancée, Shloka Mehta, daughter of the diamond magnate, Russel Mehta are expected to tie the knot, early next year.
