Recently, an old snap featuring Rukmini Vasanth and photographer, Siddhant Nag went viral on the internet. On June 12, 2023, the photo was originally shared by Siddhant on Instagram. The duo was enjoying a good time at a restaurant in Bangalore. In the now-viral snap, Rukmini was seen wearing a grey coloured top, and Siddhanth was seen sporting a white t-shirt. The Kantara: Chapter 1 actress wrapped her hand around Siddhant's arm and rested her head on his shoulder.

Coming to her professional front, Rukmini will be next seen in Yash starrer, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. She will play the role of 'Melissa'. A few days back, Toxic director, Geetu Mohandas, took to her Instagram handle and shared a post introducing the girls she onboarded for the upcoming film. While introducing Rukmini, Geetu talked about the actress’s intelligence and how she behaved on set. She wrote:

"What I admire most about Rukmini is her intelligence as an actor. She doesn't just perform, she processes. She asks questions, not out of doubt but out of curiosity. It pushes me to think deeper and sometimes even my own choices as a director. Watching her work reminds me that intelligence on screen often lies in what is left unsaid. Between shots, I often see her quietly writing in her journal, capturing thoughts, small anecdotes from the set. Those moments say a lot about her process. She is constantly building her own inner world. I find her approach incredibly thoughtful."

More about Rukmini Vasanth

According to a report by Starsunfolded, Rukmini Vasanth was born on December 10, 1994, in Bangalore, Karnataka. On July 31, 2007, Rukmini lost her dad, Colonel Vasanth Venugopal. He was martyred in action when he prevented infiltrators from crossing the Uri border in Jammu and Kashmir. Her mom, Subhashini Vasanth, is a famous Bharatanatyam dancer.

Rukmini completed her education at Army Public School, Bangalore, Air Force School ASTE, Bengaluru and Centre for Learning. Later, she went to London and completed an acting degree at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Bloomsbury, London. She made her acting debut in 2019. However, it was her role as 'Princess Kankavathi' in Rishab Shetty's Kantara: Chapter 1, that made her an overnight star. Sharing her working experience in Kantara: Chapter 1, Rukmini told Cinema Express:

"It was nerve-wracking in the beginning. With the original team reuniting and me being the new entrant, it felt daunting. But this is made as a prequel. While there are connections to the world we saw in the original, Kantara: Chapter 1 also functions as an independent story. It’s the same world, but set in a different time. So there was no pressure since we treated it as a new film. As Kanakavathi, I had to emotionally connect with the rituals, the music, and the atmosphere."
