Shortly after, Outlander Season 8 was dropped on the OTT giant, and netizens shared their reviews on X (formerly Twitter). A user wrote, "What an incredible journey from beginning to end. I fell in love with the story, the characters. The ending had me an emotional wreck. Sam Heughan was beyond incredible as Jamie Fraser. The entire cast gave unforgettable performances #Outlander." Another user penned, "Gooosh!! Outlander really ended without a scene of Jamie & Claire dancing."

A third user wrote, "Oh my goodness, the season finale of #Outlander killed me right alongside Jaime and Claire, but then the deep gasp of breath from them both at the end, please tell me it’s not over, what an amazing 8 seasons it just can’t be over." A fourth user penned, The 8th season felt too rushed. And the finale should have been two hours - time to wrap up other storylines and reunite the family, and connect their story to the prequel series. Still, such an epic story, and I look forward to @Writer_DG’s final book in the series #Outlander."
