Is Justin Baldoni Planning To Advocate For Wrongfully Accused After Blake Lively Battle? Find Out

After a long time, Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively's legal case finally saw its end on May 4, 2026. The drama between the duo had initially steamed while they were filming for the Coleen Hoover adaptation, It Ends With Us. At the time, Blake and Justin not only clashed due to their creative differences, but things took a much worse turn after the actress accused Justin of sexual harassment in addition to fat shaming and intentional reputational damage. Well, now that Justin and Blake's legal war is over for good, it seems that the former might begin advocating for those wrongfully accused.

Will Justin Baldoni become an advocate for people who have been wrongfully accused after his legal battle with Blake Lively?

Many had been wondering what is next for Justin Baldoni now that his legal battle with Blake Lively is over. Well, reports suggest that even if we don't know if he will return behind the camera, or in front of one for that matter, Justin might just be seen at a podium. Recently, TMZ caught up with the actor's attorney, Bryan Fredman, outside a New York City courthouse, where he suggested that in the future, Justin Baldoni could end up becoming an advocate for people who claim that they have been falsely accused.

According to Bryan, it won't take long for Justin to return to work in one way or another. It can either be in Hollywood, or in a way where he can voice for folks “who have been wrongfully accused of something and really beaten up by a power dynamic.” And if Justin does really choose to go down the advocacy route, it will track with his view of his case with Blake, where he alleged that he had been wrongfully accused. He also claimed that he had been subjected to a lopsided power dynamic that had severe effects on both his personal life and professional life.

According to him, Justin is still working his way through the fallout, during which he spent over a year and a half embroiled in the legal fight. He added that all the support that Justin had received up until this point has meant a great deal to him.

Blake Lively is dragging Justin Baldoni back to court after the settlement, here's why

While the core legal case between Blake Lively and Justin Baldini is over, as we have already mentioned, the same cannot be said for their visits to the courthouse. For those unaware, Judge Lewis Liman ordered the It Ends With Us co-stars back to court to address damages related to Justin's dismissed USD 400 million defamation suit against Blake, according to court documents. At present, Blake is reportedly requesting that Justin cover her legal fees and costs in the said case. While it remains unclear how much money she wants from Justin, she is seeking treble and punitive damages.

Justin and Blake were initially scheduled to go to court on May 18, 2026; however, they had agreed to settle, especially after a judge dismissed 10 of 13 allegations that the Gossip Girl star had raised in her 2023 lawsuit. This included conspiracy, sexual harassment, and defamation. After the settlement had been reached, both parties' attorneys had released a joint statement which read:

“The end product – the movie ‘It Ends With Us' – is a source of pride to all of us who worked together to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of domestic violence survivors – and all survivors – is a goal that we stand behind…It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”
