According to entertainment journalist, Rob Shuter, sources claim that Blake Lively is focused on moving forward from her legal battle with her former co-star, Justin Baldoni. A source quoted by Rob alleged that the actress hopes the matter will be solved quickly and permanently. In the Insider's words: 

"Blake wanted this over quietly and permanently. She never wanted anyone talking about this case again."

The source also mentioned that Blake is trying to improve her public image. In turn, she does not want her old controversy to continue dominating the headlines. Therefore, she is pushing her team hard to put an end to public attention around the case. It also fueled speculation that Blake's efforts to move on from the lawsuit might stem from a desire to reconnect with Taylor. Although neither Blake nor Taylor has publicly commented on the status of their friendship, rumors of a possible reconciliation have been going viral on the internet for months now. 

What affected the friendship of Blake Lively and Taylor Swift?

Taylor Swift and Blake Lively's friendship reportedly soured after she was indirectly linked to the legal battle between Blake and Justin. Some court documents shared by the media during the case allegedly included private messages between Blake and Justin that mentioned Taylor Swift. In turn, it brought the singer into controversy.
