Is Blake Lively Skipping Taylor Swift's Rumoured Bachelorette Party? Plans To Attend Wedding Instead

Blake Lively had garnered tremendous attention for her legal case with her It Ends with Us co-star, Justin Baldoni. While they eventually decided to settle, Blake most recently took Justin to court again in an effort to recover her attorney's fees. Outside of her legal case, the actress has been hogging the spotlight as they are wondering if she will be invited to her close friend, Taylor Swift's, wedding. However, before we get to that, it seems that Blake didn't get an invite or simply chose to stay solo this weekend while Taylor is allegedly having her bachelorette. 

Blake Lively was spotted alone in New York amid rumours of Taylor Swift's bachelorette party 

As per the rumours, Taylor Swift is currently having a bachelorette party surrounded by her friends at her Rhode Island home. Amid the buzz, Blake Lively was seen walking around Pound Ridge, New York, all by herself. She was photographed wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt as she pushed a shopping cart. Even though she wasn't present at Taylor Swift's home for her alleged bachelorette party, the Gossip Girl star did not seem too distressed. 

For those who missed it, reports suggest that several of Taylor Swift's friends have gathered at her Rhode Island mansion this week for an event. With only her female friends present and with Taylor's wedding right around the corner, many believe that the event in question might be T-Swift's bachelorette party. 

Why did Blake Lively and Taylor Swift have a falling out?

Blake Lively and Taylor Swift’s once-close friendship is known by many. They were so close that the singer even has songs named after Blake's kids. However, the duo seemed to have a falling out shortly after Blake filed her now infamous lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. Additionally, as the legal battle went on, a text conversation between Blake and Justin, in which she allegedly called Taylor one of her “dragons” in a Game of Thrones reference, was also revealed. While it seemed that Blake and Taylor had made up in a later conversation, many believe that they are not as close as they used to be, especially with Blake missing out on the alleged bachelorette. 

Is Blake Lively getting an invitation to Taylor Swift's wedding?

According to a source close to Blake and Taylor, the duo seems to have spoken on the phone, with the Bad Blood singer having extended an invite to her upcoming wedding to the former. The source added that everyone around Taylor is aware that Blake could attend. And even if she chooses not to, it won't be because she isn't welcome. Another source revealed that Blake is on the cusp of getting a second chance at her friendship with Taylor and that they have had a few conversations “to test the waters to get the trust back.” They added, “Blake is slowly getting back into the fold now that Taylor is having a change of heart.”

A third source revealed that the actress already has her dress picked out, as she does not want to be seen as not going to the wedding because “her image is very important to her.” Well, if Blake does ultimately attend Taylor Swift's wedding to Travis Kelce, which is scheduled to take place on July 3, 2026, at NYC's Madison Square Garden, she will be one of the many high-profile names to be present at the event. Other celebs who will reportedly attend the wedding include Zoe Kravitz, Ed Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, Suki Warehouse, the Haim sisters, and more.
