Even to this very day, it still feels unreal but Irrfan Khan, who was last seen in Angrezi Medium, had taken his last breath on April 29, 2020, and is no longer with us. No words can ease the pain of the loss of such a great artist. It was on April 28, 2020, when Irrfan was admitted at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for colon infection and had passed away the very next morning. The news of his sudden demise had saddened the whole nation. While some were appreciating his acting genius, some were showering praises on his humble and caring nature, and millions of tribute had flooded all over the social media. Also, not just India but even The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences had recognised the huge loss and had tweeted about the tragic news. Since then, his fans and family are sharing pictures of him to ease the pain of his loss. Now, his wife, Sutapa Sikdar has revealed that there's one place that she wishes she could go with her husband, Irrfan and son, Babil one last time. Find out!
On July 10, 2020, late legendary actor, Irrfan Khan's wife, Sutapa Sikdar, took to her Instagram handle and posted three beautiful pictures. The first picture was of her late husband, Irrfan Khan from his younger days, the second one was a lovely picture of Teesta river in North Bengal, and the last one was an adorable picture of Sutapa with her son, Babil. Along with these pictures, Sutapa wrote a caption, in which, She revealed that she wishes if she could visit this place and enjoy the scenic beauty all over again with her late husband, Irrfan and son, Babil. Her caption can be read as "Its one of those days #nostalgia #northbengal. I wish I lived near a river #childhood memories of North Bengal. Wild moist fragrant during rains. Teesta is not a river; it's a saga #revisiting with Irrfan and Babil for #qareebqareebsingle. How I wish I could visit once more." Take a look.
Since Irrfan Khan's demise, Sutapa Sikdar had posted many pictures from their family time together on her various social media handles. For instance, On June 4, 2020, Sutapa had taken to her Facebook account and had posted a couple of throwback pictures of her husband, Irrfan Khan. Alongside it, she had written an emotional note that could be read as "Thank you soooo much I hear you ...yes I know it's from you to me and it touched my body and soul.. After the demise of Irrfan Khan, his wife, Sutapa Sikdar had written a note for him, which she had shared through the latter's personal Twitter handle. The doting wife had captioned the note as "From Sutapa, Babil and Ayaan." And, a little excerpt from the long eulogy could be read as "How can I write this as a family statement when the whole world is taking it as a personal loss? How can I begin to feel alone when millions are grieving with us at the moment? I want to assure everyone that this is not a loss, it is a gain. It's a gain of the things he taught us, and now we shall finally begin to truly implement it and evolve. Yet I want to try to fill in the things that people don't already know."

A day after Irrfan's death, on April 30, 2020, the actor's wife, Sutapa Sikdar, had penned her last goodbyes for the great actor. She had shared an unseen picture with Irrfan, wherein she could be seen hugging him. She had posted the image as her profile picture on her various social media handles. Along with it, she had written, "I have not lost I have gained in every which way." Indeed, a beautiful way to bid farewell to the love of her life."
