Nupur Shikhare's mom, Pritam Shikhare is a trained Kathak dancer. One look at her profile, and you can have an idea about her mesmerising dancing skills. However, talking about Pritam's connection with Sushmita Sen, the former trained the actress' daughter, Renee, in Kathak. In fact, Sushmita sen calls Nupur Shikhare's mom 'guru maa'.

It was back in 2019, when taking to her IG handle, Sushmita Sen dropped a video wherein we could see Renee practising Kathak while Pritam Shikhare was giving her training. In the video, Renee could be seen being decked up in a pink salwar, while Pritam was dolled up in a blue kurta and white pants, which she teamed with a white dupatta. Moreover, the video was enough to speak volumes about the dedication level of both the teacher and the student. Nupur Shikhare and Ira Khan registered their wedding on January 3, 2024, in Mumbai. In several glimpses, we could see Nupur being a hatke dulha as he ditched ghor sawari, and jogged 8 km in gym wear to get married to the lady of his dreams. He also danced to the beats of music in his entry and even played dhol. In one of the videos, Nupur could be seen dancing with his mom, and they looked blown with happiness. Nupur's mom, Pritam looked the prettiest as she was decked up in a red saree featuring golden work all over and teamed it with a black blouse. Moreover, the way she was dancing with her son spoke volumes about her happiness.
