Just like every season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the 17th edition is also creating a lot of buzz. From new players introducing themselves on cricket grounds to legendary players like Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rohit Sharma not taking up the captainship, there are a lot of sweet and sour things that have already happened in the IPL 2024 so far. Amidst all these things, the tradition of people getting viral after being shown on jumbotrons during the IPL matches is still very much alive.
We witnessed a glimpse of the same at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on April 11, 2024, when Mumbai Indians locked horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore. It was an intense match, but the Mumbai Indians won it by seven wickets, earning three crucial points. However, during a segment of the match, IPL's official cameraman focused his lens on a female fan sitting in the MI section, and the entire stadium cheered.

As soon as the match ended, a single picture of the young female fan of Mumbai Indians started doing rounds on social media. From X (formerly known as Twitter) to Instagram and Meta (formerly known as Facebook), hashtags related to IPL on all these major social media platforms were dominated by her pictures. The lady looked stunning in a white chikankari kurta and kept her tresses open. Things took a completely different turn when the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Indians posted her picture.
Upon doing some digging on the internet, we came to know that the viral IPL girl is quite popular on social media. Her name is Pragati Nagpal, and she has more than 154K followers on her Instagram handle. After going through her IG handle, we learnt that Pragati is a singer by profession, and her first song was launched on April 4, 2024, with the title, Useless Bhawra. Apart from being a professional singer, Pragati Nagpal is also a social media birdie who loves documenting her life. One look at her IG handle, and you will fall in love with her stunning pictures and dance videos.
Whether we talk about her facial beauty or fashion quotient, netizens are comparing her to Bollywood actress, Shraddha Kapoor. While some people are calling her 'Shraddha Kapoor's sister', most fans are mesmerised by Pragati's beauty and telling her to become an actress.

However, it's nothing less than a 2-minute fame for them, as in almost every match, we see some new person going viral. However, it's indeed true that the popularity that Pragati Nagpal is receiving from IPL is benefitting in rising the views of her recently released track, Useless Bhawra.
