On October 31, 2023, the Ambani family launched the Jio World Plaza in Mumbai and hosted a stunning event for the same. The Jio World Plaza event was attended by many A-listers in the industry. The shopping centre is located in the Bandra Kurla Complex in the city of Mumbai. It is seamlessly integrated with the Jio World Convention Centre, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, and the Jio World Garden. The Jio World Plaza has opened its doors on November 1, 2023. Ahead of it, Reliance Industries Limited's Director, Isha Ambani talked about the same, and said:
“Our envisioning of the Jio World Plaza is aimed at bringing the best global brands to India as well as highlighting the prowess and craftsmanship of top Indian brands; and hence create a very unique retail experience. Our pursuit of excellence, innovation, and enhancing customer experience continues to propel us in every venture."

The Jio World Plaza is spread across a sprawling area of 7,50,000 square feet and is stunningly designed as an exclusive hub for retail, leisure, and dining. The Plaza's structure is inspired by the lotus flower and many other elements of nature. The first-ever inside glimpse of the shopping centre features white walls with uniquely carved petals on the ceiling, wooden panes, a unique floral marbled floor and an array of stores for many Indian and international designers.
The Jio World Plaza is an immersive retail destination for top-end, global standard shopping and entertainment experiences in India. It boasts more than 66 luxury brands, including international ones like Balenciaga, the Giorgio Armani Café, Valentino, YSL, Versace, Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Cartier, Giorgio Armani, Bulgari, etc. and Indian renowned designers like Manish Malhotra, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, Rahul Mishra, Falguni and Shane Peacock, and Ri By Ritu Kumar, among others. Thus, keeping in mind the unique architecture of the Indian and international brands, the shopping centre features certain structures and a classy look to match the vibe.

The design of Jio World Plaza has been brought to life through a collaboration between a prestigious international architecture and design firm headquartered in the United States, TVS, and the Reliance team. Thus, we can spot a mix and match of many design elements, including a uniquely designed chandelier, hung in such a way that it not only gives a classy look but also illuminates the entire place.
