The Indian contestant, Sargam Koushal won the title of Mrs World 2022 on December 18, 2022, at a gala event that took place in Las Vegas, United States. For the unversed, it was after 21 years that Sargam could bag the winning crown. Before her, it was Indian actress, physician and former model, Aditi Govitrikar who had become the first Indian woman to win the Mrs World title in 2001. Fast forward to now, after her magnificent win, Sargam has been sharing stunning glimpses from the same that are simply unmissable.
Taking to her IG handle, Sargam shared a stunning video featuring the glamorous moment when Mrs World 2021, Shaylyn Ford crowned the Mumbai-based Sargam. In the glimpses, Sargam was seen wearing a heavily-embellished pink body-hugging dress which features a deep V-neck. She completed her look with diamond earrings and looked super enthusiastic while receiving the crown. Sharing it, she wrote:
"The long wait is over, it’s after 21 years we have the CROWN back!"

Sargam also shared some more glimpses from the 2022 event, which was also graced by many eminent artists from India. The US-based beauty pageant had a jury panel consisting of Soha Ali Khan, Mohammad Azharuddin, Vivek Oberoi, couture designer, Masumi Mewawalla and Former Mrs World, Aditi Govitrikar.

For the unversed, Sargam Koushal hails from the beautiful state of India-Jammu and Kashmir. Talking about her educational qualifications, she is a postgraduate in English Literature and used to work as a teacher in Vizag. She got married in 2018 and her husband works in the Indian Navy. It was after her marriage that she realised her love for modelling and participated in one after the other beauty pageants.
