The first woman to lead a listed IT company in India, Roshni Nadar is the daughter of billionaire businessman, Shiv Nadar, founder of HCL Technologies. Roshni did her graduation in Communication from Northwestern University, Illinois and also holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
Prior to HCL, Roshni worked as a news producer for channels like Sky News UK, CNBC and CNN America. It was in 2009 when Roshni joined HCL Technologies, and after a year at the firm, she was appointed as the company's CEO at the age of 27. After Shiv Nadar stepped down, Roshni became the chairperson of HCL.

The eldest daughter of the sixth richest Indian, Kumar Mangalam Birla and his wife, Neerja Birla, Ananya Birla is the sixth-generation scion of the Birla family. Ananya went to Oxford to obtain her bachelor’s degree in economics and management. However, she dropped out to pursue her passion for singing.
Unlike other heiresses, Ananya declined to join her father’s business. Instead, she founded Svatantra Microfin Pvt. Ltd. at the age of 17, which provides loans to women entrepreneurs in rural India.
