Time does fly with a blink of an eye. On September 29, 2017, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu welcomed their little princess, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu in this world, and it has been one year since this ‘dollop of sweetness’ is ruling our hearts. Inaaya turned one on September 29, 2018, in a jungle-themed birthday bash. In a picture shared by Soha from Inaaya’s birthday venue, a colourful board had interesting details about Inaaya. From Inaaya’s weight, the number of teeth she has, what she loves doing, what are the words that she has learnt to speak and what are the activities that she can do, the board gives us some unknown details of the little one. Inaaya is often snapped by the paparazzi, in her favourite frowning expressions while taking a stroll in the city. Needless to say, she looks super cute in those too!
But now, for the very first time, Inaaya is captured by the shutterbugs in her society while she was smiling her heart out. And believe us, this unusual glimpse of Inaaya is a sheer delight for all her fans. Dressed in a black t-shirt, yellow-coloured shorts and a super-cute flowery hairband, Inaaya has yet again tugged our heartstrings with her adorableness.

In a recent interview, Soha shared the instance when Kunal called her up to say how much respect he has for her as she takes care of their little one every day. Soha recalled, "I always thought what it's like to be a mother. When you become a mother, you respect your mother so much more. For the first time last week, I left my daughter Inaaya alone with my husband Kunal Kemmu and he called me up at the end of the day and said he has so much respect for the fact that I do this every day." In a throwback interview, Soha shared that Inaaya is the boss in their house and now their lives revolve around her. She had stated, “The first week after leaving the hospital was terrifying. Earlier, you lived in joint families. Now it’s just Kunal and I at home. Of course, my mother came for some time and his parents also dropped by. Also, his sister, my sister and sister-in-law dropped by.”
She further added, “But ultimately it is just us at home. So, it’s quite different. The obvious change for me is that I am used to being in control of things. I am a control freak. I like to plan and organise things, whether it’s fitness, eating on time and getting my ten hours of sleep. All of that has gone out of the window. I’m no longer the boss, Inaaya is. Life revolves around her.”
When the actress-turned-author was asked about her new project, Soha happily said, “I think everyone keeps asking what my next project is. I think project Inaaya is taking up most of my time right now and quite happily so.” Soha will also encourage her daughter to pursue whichever career she is interested in, and speaking about the same, she had shared, “Whether she wants to be a full-time mother, astronaut, actor, or architect, I will support her. I want to give her a good foundation and be involved in her life. I want to teach her my values. And then, ultimately, I want to be able to help [make] her dreams come true.”
About what values she would want to inculcate in Inaaya, Soha remarked, “I want Inaaya to be her own person. I would like her to have open communication with me. Things like integrity, trust, loyalty, being kind to others, are some of the things I would like to see in her. It shouldn’t be that Inaaya remains only surrounded by love and positivity. She should also be a strong person, with the sense of security to withstand criticism... and also be able to laugh.
