Graduation is an important milestone in a child's life and it needs to be celebrated in a grand way. But due to the pandemic, since everything has moved online, even the graduation ceremonies are held virtually. Last year, in 2020, when Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda had graduated from college, the Bachchan clan had left no stone unturned to make her day memorable. Just as important high school or college graduation is, passing playschool, preschool or elementary school is also a big achievement for the little ones and is a milestone that deserves to be recognised. Soha Ali Khan made sure that her little girl, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu's special day is celebrated in an intimate yet fun way.

Last year, in February 2020, Soha Ali Khan had posted a video, giving a glimpse of the Sports Day celebration at her daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu’s preschool. Revealing that it is her first, as a parent, Soha had captioned the video as “My first sports day as a parent!! Got a bit ‘carried away’ in the tug of war - literally!” In the video, Soha could be seen participating in a tug-of-war and it had concluded with her falling on the ground and laughing her heart out. Soha often shares glimpses of Inaaya's artworks, online classes and extra-curricular activities on her social media handle.
Inaaya Naumi Kemmu graduated from her preschool and her doting mommy, Soha Ali Khan captured the moment as the celebrations were held virtually. Inaaya celebrated her special day with her friend and they both happily donned the convocation hat, complementing their beautiful dresses. Soha posted two pictures on her IG stories with the stickers, "Class of 2021" and "Happy Graduation".
With the lockdown in Mumbai, Soha Ali Khan had attended a virtual puppet show with her daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu a few days ago. For the virtual show, Soha and Inaaya had twinned in a yellow parrot-printed mother-daughter dress set from the origami collection of Yebbow Clothing. Soha had posted a picture with Inaaya and captioned it as "Dressed im-peck-ably!" Soha had also posted two IG stories with Inaaya, one with her watching the puppet show and the other one with the mother-daughter duo reading the alphabets chart on their wall.

In a Mother's Day 2021 special interview with ZeeZest.com, Soha Ali Khan had revealed the lessons she has learnt from listening to her mother, Sharmila Tagore and daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Soha had said, "From my mother, I have learnt the importance of giving back, walking a mile in another's shoes to better empathise with them, and appreciating every moment. And, from Inaaya, I have learnt to love fully, to dance like no one is watching, and to always look at the bright side." Revealing in what ways she is like her amma, Sharmila, Soha had said, "I am like her in her love for learning, self-improvement, curiosity, friendliness and love for word games."
When asked "How much does your upbringing influence the way you are raising Inaaya?" Soha Ali Khan had replied, "It has influenced me tremendously. There is so much more I understand about the actions and decisions of my mother, now that I am a mother myself. We are fortunate to have such people in our lives to look up to and learn from. And as a mother, I keep learning every day and try to be a better parent every day."
