Who is IAS Tina Dabi?

Tina Dabi is a famous IAS officer, born on November 9, 1993. She is famous for topping the 2015 UPSC Civil Services Exam at the age of 22. She soon became a prominent public figure, especially in Rajasthan. She is known for her work in water conservation and digital governance. However, she often faces public scrutiny over her social media presence.

Talking about her personal life, she was previously married to an IAS officer, Athar Khan. The two had a lavish wedding in March 2018, attended by celebrities and politicians. However, within two years of their weddings, their relationship fell apart, and they officially divorced in 2020. However, the reason for their separation was never made public. 

Who is Tina Dabi's second husband, Pradeep Gawande? 

Just like Tina Dai, her second husband, Pradee Gawande, is also an IAS officer. He hails from a middle-class family from Pune. He was born on December 9, 1980 and hails from the Latur District of Maharashtra. He is a medical doctor and completed his MBBS from the Government Medical College in Aurangabad. 

It was while he was pursuing his medical profession that he got the calling to clear the Union Public Service Commission. In 2012, he achieved an All Indian Rank of 478 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. In 2013, he became an IAS officer. He is known for his contributions to society, especially his tenure as District Magistrate of Churu, Rajasthan. He is known for advancing innovative policies to enhance rural development. His main focus is on infrastructure, education and healthcare. His leadership during the disaster crisis demonstrated his efficiency. 

Tina Dabi and her second husband have a 13 years of age gap

Tina Dabi and Pradeep Gawande got married in 2022 in Jaipur. The then-29-year-old Tina got married to 13 years older Pradeep. Despite having a huge age gap, they share a strong bond. On September 15, 2023, Tina Dabi and her husband, Pradeep Gawande welcomed their first child, a baby boy. 

Tina Dabi faced critisim for her lousy salute during Republic Day event

During an event for the 77th Republic Day celebrations held at the Barmer District Collectorate, Tina Dabi faced huge criticism. For those who don't know, Tina Dabi is working as the district collector. She was overseeing the flag-hoisting ceremony. In the clip, she unfurled the national flag and was seen facing the wrong direction while saluting. A nearby security personnel immediately signalled towards the correct orientation.

After which, Tina quickly changed her position and completed the salute. The short video surfaced on the internet and sparked hateful reactions. Some termed it a protocol violation, others called it a lousy salute. The widespread criticism proves that you cannot err during such national events.
