When Hrithik Roshan Stabbed Pankaj Tripathi In 'Agneepath', The Latter Fainted And Had A Blackout

Pankaj Tripathi has been hands-down one of the best actors in the country for some time now. With his work in movies and web series, he has created a place for himself in Bollywood that speaks volumes about his stature as an actor. Before becoming 'Sardar Khan' in Gangs of Wasseypur, it was Pankaj Tripathi's character in Agneepath that showcased his villainous side to a major extent for the first time. In Agneepath, he played Sanjay Dutt's character, 'Kancha Cheena's sidekick and aced his role.

When Pankaj Tripathi revealed how he fainted and had a blackout while shooting with Hrithik Roshan in Agneepath

A few months ago, in an interview with Mashable India, Pankaj Tripathi showered immense praises on Hrithik Roshan for his work in the film, Agneepath. The actor admitted that it was a wonderful experience for him and shared an interesting anecdote from the same. Pankaj Tripathi talked about his character's death scene in Agneepath and shockingly revealed that he had a blackout while filming that sequence.

The critically acclaimed actor, Pankaj Tripathi, explained that as per the film's script, Hrithik Roshan had to stab him 3-4 times. But because the former had no experience of doing such scenes, Pankaj held his breath during each take. Mirzapur actor further shared that his eyes had become completely red by the end of that scene because they had to take 2-3 takes for that particular scene. He said:

"In that scene, since he had to stab me 3-4 times, I held my breath because I didn't know how a person felt when he is stabbed. So, if you watch that scene closely, you will see my eyes are completely red."

Sharing how he was holding his breath in almost every take, Pankaj Tripathi admitted that after the third take, which was the final one, he fainted and had a blackout. The actor further revealed that when he opened his eyes after having a blackout, he was surrounded by a lot of people, who were worried about him. He said:

"I remember in the second or third take, I fainted and fell. While the camera was rolling, I had a blackout and I fell because I must have held my breath for too long. So, a few people came to pick me up and when I woke up, I saw so many people were surrounding me."

When Pankaj Tripathi revealed he worked with Hrithik Roshan in Lakshya, but his scene got deleted

Agneepath is the first film in which we saw Pankaj Tripathi and Hrithik Roshan appear on the big screen, but the duo had worked together in Lakshya. Yes! You read it right! Laskhya was the first film in which Pankaj and Hrithik appeared together, but unfortunately, the former's scenes were deleted from the final cut. In an interview with Lallantop, the actor admitted that it was an embarrassing moment for him as a newspaper had announced that he would be seen in the film. Sharing his pain, he had said:

"The news that I am in Lakshya was printed in the newspaper, and I felt bad, because people who will read the paper and then wouldn't see me in the film, they will think I am lying."
