Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor were one of the most loved Bollywood paired on-screen. They worked together in films, including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham..., Mujhse Dosti Karoge!, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon and others. Their chemistry on-screen was so magical that their fans believed them to be dating in the previous times. However, they never accepted the same in their various public interviews despite their outing pictures revealing something different. Now, we stumbled upon an old interview of Hrithik, wherein he addressed the same and reacted to it.
In an old interview with a portal, three days after his wedding to Sussanne Khan, Hrithik Roshan revealed that he wanted his personal affairs to remain private. In the same interview, he was also asked about the then-ongoing reports of him being in an alleged relationship with Kareena Kapoor. To this, he completely denied the alleged ‘romantic involvement’ with Kareena and thanked the almighty that his close ones don't believe in the same. He stated:
"Thankfully, the people who matter, my friends and family, including Sussanne, trust me enough not to believe such baseless reports."

In the same conversation, Hrithik was also asked about the alleged incident in which Kareena visited him on his London tour at that time. Gossip columns had then mentioned that Kareena had travelled to London just to frequent his film set. However, Hrithik called it a completely fabricated event. Further, he was heard praising Kareena for being a well-intentioned young woman who is often misconstrued due to her unwavering honesty. He added:
"Apparently, Kareena was attempting to coax me into reciprocating her feelings, with me requesting her to back off - a complete fabrication."
Earlier, on Rendezvous with Simi Garewal in 2002, the host of the show, Simi Garewal had asked Kareena Kapoor if she was upset by the “mean, nasty gossip” about her and Hrithik Roshan. Revealing that the families knowing the truth matters most, Kareena continued, “Anything they write about me upsets me. If you are famous, you are bound to be spoken about. Being an actor or an actress, it is part and parcel. As long as the people and families concerned know about what is important, that is what matters.” But when asked if she discussed the same with her family, Bebo had retorted:
“No, there was nothing to clarify, because it was like a joke. I mean, it still is a joke. But one thing which is clear is I am never going to let it affect my friendship with Hrithik in any way, no matter what. Definitely not. We are still crazy on the sets. People have to tell us to shut up and keep quiet, we are still not going to stop being like children.”

On the personal front, both Hrithik and Kareena are happy in their respective relationships. Kareena is married to another Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan. They are blessed with two kids, Taimur and Jeh. On the other hand, after moving on from his separation from his first wife, Suzzanne Khan, Hrithik is currently dating Saba Azad.
