How To Do The Perfect Eye Make Up

There is an old saying that goes, “The eyes are the windows to the soul.” You may or may not believe it to be true, but there is no disputing the fact that your eyes are one of the first things that others notice about you. If you need any corroboration of the fact, then just think about all the poems and songs that you have heard about a beautiful pair of eyes. Making sure that your eye make up is perfect is one way to draw attention to one of your best features and captivate someone when you meet them for the first time. If you will keep the following tips for eye make up in mind the next time you dress to kill, then you will not any trouble in snaring the perfect prey!

Use liquid eye liner rather than kajal sticks

There is nothing wrong with kajal, but it tends to smudge and spread everywhere after a short while. The best option is to go with a liquid eye liner, since it maintains definition for a long time without smudging.

Avoid bright, garish shades

Avoid bright garish shades of eye liner & eye shadow like orange or fluorescent green. Stick to dark shades of eye liner like black and brown and try to make your eye shadow just a shade or two lighter than your skin. I know the smoky look is in these days, with dark eye shadow, but there is a fine line between being fashionable and looking like you came out on the worse end of a fight, with two black eyes. if you are going out partying, then just brush some eye glitter over your eye shadow to glam it up!

Mascara, Mascara, Mascara

Mascara is generally not part of the repertoire of most women, and this is a shame, because there is nothing like mascara to add volume and length to your lashes. Have you ever heard the phrase “doe eyes”? Mascara is the perfect way to achieve it.

First, try buying smudge resistant mascara instead of the water proof variety, because the latter is so much tougher to remove. Also, I recommend black mascara. Dark brown and colorful mascara can be fun once in a while, but black never goes out of style. To apply mascara to your upper lashes, gently drag the brush from the end of your lash line to the tips. For a second coat, just repeat the process while the first one is still wet to avoid clumps.

For the lower lashes, just repeat the same process, only using less mascara. Avoid second coats here, because you do not want your eyes to end up looking clumsy. If you are looking for the perfect mascara brand, I recommend Maybelline.

So that about sums it up for me, ladies. How about you? How do you do your eye make up for a night on the town? Do you have any secrets? If you do, dish!
