But the good news has not deterred her determination. Instead, Witney confirmed that she is returning to compete in Season 35 of the hit dance competition.

Witney Carson recently sat down for a conversation on Good Morning America. During the chat, she opened up about her pregnancy and her return to the ballroom. For those unaware, the 32-year-old dancer's interview quickly gained attention after she teased about a major announcement over the weekend.

The professional dancer shared that she is expecting her third child with her husband, Carson McAllister. In turn, her return will mark a unique moment in the show's history as she will become the first professional dancer to enter the show knowing she is pregnant. However, she does not view her pregnancy as an obstacle. Instead, Witney admitted that it is an exciting new experience and she is looking forward to doing what she loves.
Apart from pregnancy, fans were also curious to know whether Witney would return to the competition after emerging as the winner in 2025. But she put all the speculation to rest and confirmed that viewers will once again witness her compete for another Mirror Ball trophy.
Interestingly, Witney also shared the name of her celebrity partner for the season. The dancing pro has been paired with Guillermo Rodriguez, the popular sidekick from Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Needless to say, the pair has instantly sparked excitement among fans, who are eager to see the duo in the competition.
Carson admitted that the initial months of her pregnancy were difficult. She explained that she spent most of her time during the first trimester coping with the daily nausea and exhaustion. However, Witney acknowledged that her husband played a significant role in helping her manage the daily work. Especially when it came to managing her two young children, his support has helped her better manage everyday responsibilities, focus on her health, and prepare for the physically demanding competition.
Still, Witney clarified that she has no intention to hide her pregnancy or baby bump during the competition. She is proud of it and wants to celebrate both her motherhood and her career. So, instead of hiding her baby bump with the costumes, Witney plans to embrace it openly.

At the same time, she emphasised that her health and her baby's wellness are her top priority. Therefore, she will continue performing as long as she is comfortable and the baby is safe. Meanwhile, the season is set to premiere on September 15, 2026 and September 16, 2026.

Beyond the ballroom, Witney is a devoted wife and mother. She tied the knot with her high school boyfriend, Carson McAllister, on January 1, 2016. They have built a family together. They welcomed their first son, Leo, in January 2021 and their second son, Jet, in May 2023. Now, they are set to welcome a new member into the family. Witney was born in an American Fork family from Utah. She began dancing at a young age and eventually became famous for it.
