According to recent reports, Violet Affleck is currently recovering at home after being seen at the emergency room on May 26, 2026. Although the exact nature of her injury is not officially disclosed, the Yale Student was seen leaving the hospital using crutches. At the same time, she was wearing an orthopedic boot on her foot. Some photos from the outing showed that Violet was uncomfortable and struggled to walk normally. 

In turn, Ben Affleck kept his arms protectively wrapped around his daughter as she leaned on him. On the other hand, Jennifer Garner walked closely beside her to enable Violet to maintain her balance. News reports suggest that the family stayed together throughout the medical visit. At the same time, both Ben and Jennifer focused on Violet's comfort and care. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old Yale student continued to wear a mask during the outing. The ER visit also left fans concerned because Violet had earlier spoken about dealing with persistent health complications after a viral illness. However, reports claimed that the reason for her immediate visit to the hospital was due to some physical injury related to her leg or foot.

The actor explained that whenever he struggled emotionally, he turned to alcohol, which became a big regret for him. Despite other speculations, Jennifer clarified to Vanity Fair that "no third" was the reason behind their split.
