Hirdesh Singh, who is most popularly known as Yo Yo Honey Singh, has amassed a global fandom with his hit songs such as Brown Rang, High Heels, Blue Eyes, Love Dose, Desi Kalakaar, and more. There was a time when Honey Singh’s songs dominated every occasion, and people could be found grooving to the beats of his pop music. He was once known as the highest-paid music artist in Bollywood. Apart from singing, he also ventured into cinemas and has starred in The Xpose, Zorawar, Mirza: The Untold Story and Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22.
After a brief hiatus, Honey Singh returned to the music industry with his 2023 release, Kalaastar, which is an extension of his previous chartbuster song, Desi Kalakaar. The Indian rapper recently did an interview in Dubai and talked about the appreciation he has received from Pakistan.

In a conversation with RJ Tayyab Arshmaan in the show, Chai Pe Charcha, the Indian rapper-singer, Honey Singh shared a personal anecdote which had a connection with our neighbourhood country, Pakistan. The rapper has disclosed that his family origins are from Lahore, and he has a strong desire to explore his family's heritage by visiting the city. He has expressed his heartfelt desire to pay his respects at Nankana Sahib and meet his fans in Lahore if he ever gets the opportunity to do so. He said:
"Whenever I get to visit Pakistan, should it be in my fate, my forefathers were from Lahore. I'd like to visit Lahore, go to Nankana Sahib to pay my respects, and meet you all."
Further, during the conversation, the host asked Yo Yo Honey Singh to relay his feelings to his Pakistani fans. The rapper then shared that he wants his Pakistani fans to keep showering love on him. Honey Singh expressed his gratitude for the love and appreciation he receives from his fans on the other side of the border. He further said:
"I would just say that keep loving me and supporting me like this."

Just a few days ago, Honey Singh took to his official Instagram account and shared a selfie featuring himself alongside the Pakistani diva, Mehwish Hayat. The rapper captioned the post as "With ZINDADIL." The duo was all smiles as they posed for the camera. Mehwish was seen wearing a velvet royal blue-hued dress, and Honey Singh looked dapper in an all-black outfit. The Pakistani actress took to the comment section of the same post to share her thoughts on their meeting. She penned “It was such a pleasure to finally meet you!”
