Hina Khan, Shilpa Shinde Reignite Years-Old Rivalry During Lock Upp Judgement Day, Inside The Feud

Nearly nine years after their headline-making clashes on Bigg Boss 11, the two television stars came face-to-face once again in the upcoming episode of Netflix's Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa Season 2. This time, it wasn't inside the Bigg Boss house but during the show's upcoming Judgement Day episode, where Hina Khan appeared as a special guest alongside Uorfi Javed.
A newly released promo from Saturday's episode shows the longtime rivals exchanging indirect digs, reminding fans why their rivalry remains one of Indian reality television's most talked-about feuds.
Hina Khan takes indirect jibes at Shilpa Shinde
The promo begins with Uorfi Javed asking the contestants to name the "most dangerous player" inside the Lock Upp house. Contestant Varun Yadav, popularly known in the show as Laila, immediately names Shilpa Shinde. Harshad Chopda agrees instantly and jokes that there are "two jailers outside and one jailer inside," hinting that Shilpa has a strong hold on the game.
Hina sharply quips, "That's Shilpa Shinde, ladies and gentlemen." The latter, however, remains unfazed by the comments and replies with a smile, "Sab mujhse darte hain aur darte rahein". When she asks the contestants, “Are you afraid of me?”, everyone responds with a "yes."
But the fiery exchange doesn’t end there. Later in the episode, when talking about the different gameplay strategies of the contestants, the Bigg Boss 11 first runner-up feels that they are unnecessarily helping one contestant to move ahead. Hina can be heard saying, “King ko king mat banao, kingmaker mat bano."
She follows it up with another pointed remark, taking another indirect jab at the Bigg Boss 11 winner. Without taking any names, the actress quips, "Training chahiye tum logon ko, kisse life mein darna chahiye aur kisse nahi." And when Uorfi asks whether the comment is directed at Shilpa, Hina replies, "Of course."
Inside Hina and Shilpa's Bigg Boss 11 rivalry
The feud dates back to their time in Bigg Boss 11, where Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde emerged as the season's biggest rivals, and the fight spilled beyond the reality show, often resurfacing online.
During their stay inside the Bigg Boss house, the duo often clashed over household chores, kitchen work, strategy, and personal comments, and their contrasting personalities became one of the defining storylines of the season. Hina was said to be a very competitive player, while Shilpa won the audience with her grit and finally went on to win the trophy. Hina was the first runner-up. Their rivalry became one of the most memorable in Bigg Boss history, dividing viewers throughout the season.
Bigg Boss 11 ended in 2018, but their rivalry did not. Over the years, the two actresses have taken indirect digs at each other in interviews and on social media. The feud reared its head again in 2026 when Hina publicly called out Shilpa after the latter made comments about filing a false sexual harassment complaint. This added another chapter to their already strained equation.
Lock Upp 2 has brought the former rivals on the same platform, and fans are super excited. The promo for the upcoming episode has already created a buzz online, with the viewers divided over the exchange. While some appreciated Hina's quick comments on the contestants' gameplay, others thought Shilpa's composed and assured responses stole the show.
