Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress, Hina Khan was extremely close to her father, late Aslam Khan and today, on his first death anniversary, the doting daughter remembered her daddy with a heart-melting video post on social media. The 'favourite bahu' of Star Plus, Hina had won the title of the first runner up in Bigg Boss 11. However, the actress had faced a major setback in her life, a year ago, i.e. on April 20, 2021, when she had lost her father to cardiac arrest.
At that time, Hina was shooting for her upcoming show in Kashmir. After hearing the heartbreaking news, an emotionally devastated Hina had immediately flew down to Mumbai. Though it has been a year since his demise, there has not been a single day when Hina Khan does not miss her father.

A few hours ago, Hina Khan took to her IG stories and shared a memorable video with her father, the late Aslam Khan. The footage shows Hina playing 'Hide N Seek' with her daddy inside their house. The actresses' dad looked cute in a striped T-shirt and shorts while peeking from behind a wall. Sharing the lovely throwback video, Hina penned a heartfelt note and wrote:
"20th April 2021. This day changed our lives forever. Miss you dad."
It's hard to even put in words how a person feels after losing a parent. In July 2021, Hina Khan had taken to her IG handle and had dropped a series of pictures as she remembered her dad on his third month death anniversary. Hina had mentioned being called 'Daddy's strong gurl'. However, she struggled to stand firm since her father had left for the heavenly abode. Along with it, she had written:
"Tumhaari khushi mai hi meri khushi He said, a #Always The First one to clap for me (wholeheartedly) Miss the sparkle in your eyes Dad. Three Months Today 20th April 2021 DADDYS STRONG GURL This is what u always called me. Not that strong to bear your loss Dad."

A few months after her daddy, Aslam Khan's demise, it was difficult for the actress to celebrate father's day. However, she had shown courage and had taken to her IG handle and had posted a series of lovely pictures with the late Aslam Khan. In the photos, Hina had donned a salwar suit while posing with her daddy, who looked happy in quirky goggles that read 'DAD'. She had revealed that her dad wanted to see these snaps, but Hina had kept them unseen to post on a special day. Thus, unfortunately, her dad had died before taking a glimpse of them. Hina had written:
"Indeed a Father's Day (Truly).. June 20th, It's been two months today Dad… We clicked these pictures 7 months back and I didn't let u see these pictures when they were clicked coz I wanted to post them on a special day. Never did I think that I will be posting them today. You had to see these pictures dad. That's what we decided. Whyyy??? Miss you Happy Fathers Day Daddy."
On the work front, Hina Khan will be next seen playing a cop in Seven One.
