Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana have proved that when there is love, it can conquer it all. We had witnessed the sweet love story of ‘Asimanshi’ in the reality show, Bigg Boss 13. From making a heart-shaped parantha to going down on his one knee to propose his ladylove, Asim could be seen wearing his heart on his sleeves for Himanshi. While the Punjabi actress had first refuted his love, it was after the show that the two had started dating and had made their relationship official.

Asim and Himanshi’s breakup rumours often hit the town, but the two always come up with a way to rubbish those rumours as it’s been almost 1.5 years that the two are going strong. Their social media PDA makes their fans go crazy and the two always support each other. Himanshi Khurana has been a part of many Punjabi songs and her song, Surma Bole had made her the first Punjabi actress to feature on Times Square billboard. Surma Bole was Himanshi’s song with her as the main lead and singer, and the song had made it to Times Square, New York. Himanshi’s beau, Asim Riaz was proud of her achievement and had shared a picture of the same on his IG stories. Later, Himanshi had taken to her IG stories and had thanked him. Sharing the picture, Himanshi had written, “@asimriaz.77official thanku for ur kind words” atop it. Subtly and silently, the duo shower and showcase their love for each other.
While often their breakup rumours hit the headlines, Himanshi Khurana has now talked about her wedding plans, long-distance relationship and Asim’s bond with her mother that makes her jealous, in a conversation with ETimes TV. Talking about how she sometimes feels jealous of the bond Asim shares with her mother, she said, "I sometimes get jealous because my mom forgets to message me but Asim and she talk daily on messages. Asim’s niece is very fond of me and she sends me voice notes. She loves my style and keeps messaging about gowns, lehengas. She is always in touch with me."
Himanshi also talked about her wedding plans with Asim Riaz and called it a big commitment. Quoting how their upbringing and religion is different, she said, "Asim has just started working full fledged and it is the time for him to grow and excel. So right now we are not thinking about marriage. I am also working round the clock and have some amazing offers. Getting married means we will have to give time to each other. Currently, we are working in different industries, the mindset is very different. Our upbringing, religion, he’s in Mumbai so everything is different. We don’t want to rush and mess up things. Marriage is a big commitment. We don't want to get married in haste and then later on our relationship becomes a joke for others. We want to be prepared for it and want it to happen at the right time. It will be a mature decision."
Sharing if managing a long-distance relationship is difficult for the couple, Himanshi said, “Actually it’s not very difficult to manage a long distance relationship. We both are from the same profession so there’s an understanding. We both are working and whenever we get time in between we take flights and meet each other."

While Asim Riaz is 27 years old, Himanshi Khurana is 29 years old and often either their breakup rumours or their marriage speculations hit the headlines. In a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Himanshi had clarified that the decision of getting married cannot be taken in haste as their religion and communities are different. She had said, “Pehle logon ko hamare relationship pe shaq tha, ab yeh sab bol rahe hain. We’re in no hurry. We’re right now concentrating on our work and being there for each other. Hamari communities aur religion alag hain. Our families are happy for us, but a relationship needs time.”
