Some days ago, Himanshi Khurana had revealed in a conversation with ETimes TV, how she is a little superstitious when it comes to romance. Himanshi had also expressed that any girl would be lucky to have a boyfriend like Asim Riaz. Revealing how she is an exact opposite of Asim as she doesn't like to share her feelings in public because of superstition, she had said, "He is very expressive and any girl would love to have a partner or boyfriend like him. I don't express that much so I get judged a lot. I am a little superstitious when it comes to romance, I feel nazar lag jaati hai. He is a very nice person."
In the same interview, Himnashi had also talked about how she feels there is nothing like long-distance or short-distance relationship and the need to give space in a relationship to let it grow. She had added, "I don't believe in this short and long-distance relationship. It is all in your mind. There are so many stories we are getting to hear about how husband-wife and couples are fighting with each other after staying together for a long period. Everyone wants their other half to go to work and give space (laughs). We both are working, so we are not able to talk to each other that much. When he gets free, I am working, when I get free he's working. But we make sure to try and talk to each other at least once in a day and ask about each other's health, daily routine. Some days ago, Himanshi Khurana had lashed out on Twitter, over being repeatedly called Asim Riaz's girlfriend. She had felt that her own identity was lost somewhere in this whole kerfuffle. She had talked about the same in her tweet, wherein she had bashed 'patriarchal mindset' for reducing her identity to being conditional on someone else's. Her tweet could be read as "Why it's always girlfriend of Asim Riaz.. not the boyfriend of Himanshi Khurana.. I know there is nothing wrong in this & I am proud of this but at the same time females r also working in this industry & they have there individual personality.. their share of struggle.. why it's always about man."
