Bollywood actress, Hema Malini is hailed as the 'Dream Girl'. Undoubtedly, she etched a special place in millions of hearts with her enigmatic onscreen presence and startling personality. And thus, her romantic affairs with several actors also often used to hit the headlines at that time. Among them, Hema's ex-relationships with actors, Jeetendra and Sanjeev Kumar, and marriage with the already married man, Dharmendra were the most talked about in the town. Now, Hema revealed whether she holds any grudges against her ex-partners.
In an interview with Lehren Retro, Hema Malini was asked about her relationship with her former partners, Jeetendra and late Sanjeev Kumar. She was also pointed out about the time when the actress went to visit Sanjeev Kumar in the hospital when he had a heart attack. Not only that, Hema also continued to work with ex-boyfriend, Jeetendra years after their split. Thus, to answer the question, she mentioned holding no grudges against Sanjeev and Jeetendra. She also mentioned that such things happen in life, thus, no one should keep them intact in their hearts. Instead, they should forgive and forget. Hema also added that she has always been like that.

For the unversed, Hema tied the knot with legendary actor, Dharmendra on May 2, 1980. However, at that time, he was still married to his first wife, Prakash Kaur. Thus, Hema and Dharmendra converted their religion in order to get married. Later, Hema and Dharmendra were blessed with two daughters, Esha and Ahana.
The fallacious love triangle, which once shocked the entire glamour world, was between Jeetendra, Hema Malini and Dharmendra. It had started with Hema's mother, Jaya's disregard for her daughter's romantic involvement with an already married man, Dharmendra. On the other side, Jaya was eager to marry off Hema and saw a potential groom in the contemporary actor and her co-star in many films, Jeetendra. In addition, Jaya knew the fact that Jeetendra also had a soft corner for Hema, but he was involved with Shobha Kapoor.

Moroever, while Dharmendra was not committing to Hema, Jeetendra and Shobha were going through their own ups and downs. Thus, Jaya somehow managed to take Hema and Jeetendra's relation to the wedding mandap and almost got them married. In the meantime, a completely drunk, Dharmendra arrived at their wedding venue, and the rest is history.
Not many know about Hema Malini's relationship with the late actor, Sanjeev Kumar, which ended on a sour note. They were about to get married, but Sanjeev's family wanted a homely wife for him, leading to the couple's separation. In a 1991 interview with Bhawna Somaaya, Hema revealed that Sanjeev looked down upon the women from the acting profession and desired a stay-at-home, sacrificing wife. She also mentioned that according to her, Sanjeev was a male chauvinist., and that the 'perfect woman' for him doesn’t exist.
