Popular television actress, Shraddha Arya is well-known for her role of 'Preeta' in the show, Kundali Bhagya. She had left her massive fanbase stunned when she had shared pictures from her wedding with a Navy officer, Rahul Nagal. Ever since then, the couple has been swooning our hearts with adorable glimpses of their married life. For the unversed, Shraddha and Rahul are building their dream house in Mumbai.
While Shraddha and her hubby, Rahul have been counting days to shift into their new home, something unexpected happened with them. On May 23, 2022, Shraddha Arya had shared an IG story and had revealed that her interior designer had conned her. She had shared that the guy had run away with her money and all the electrical appliances and sanitary fittings of her home. Check it out:
A few moments back, taking to her IG stories, Shraddha Arya gave her fans a sneak peek into her newly-constructed home post-robbery. The heartbroken actress shared a video of her new home, in which we can see a glimpse of a room wherein a few items were scattered on the ground. We can also see the wires coming out of the wall beside the door as the switches were taken out from it. Sharing the video, atop it, Shraddha penned:
"The state of my house! Never mind, will begin again."
Since Shraddha had shared the details about the robbery on her IG handle, she was managed to get her stuff back, courtesy of her massive fanbase. However, on May 25, 2022, the 34-year-old actress had shared an update on the robbing incident and had lauded the power of social media. She had shared a picture note on her Instagram story and had confirmed that she had received her fittings back along with an apology from the designer. Her note could be read as:
"I can’t thank my fans, followers, the journalists, and everyone who came out to support me in the matter of my new house, enough. With the support of all of you, I have got my fittings and fixtures back with an apology from the interior designer. Lesson learned: Never leave your work site unattended. My take away from the incident: In all these years of work in the industry, what I have really earned is the support of all my well-wishers. Forever Grateful!"
Earlier, in an interview with The Times Of India, Shraddha Arya had opened up on the details of the robbery at her house. She had revealed that she had hired the interior designer for her new home, and he had promised to complete the work in four months, but it took him longer. She had also revealed that he had quoted the amount in lakhs and she had paid him around 95% of that. However, he had run away with her money as well as all the material that she had bought for the house when she had gone to Vishakhapatnam to spend the weekend with her hubby, Rahul.
