For every newlyweds, the feeling of the first-ever Karwa Chauth holds a special place in their hearts. From checking the moonrise timings every now and then to spending the whole day without food and water, the ritual is quite exciting for the ladies. And television actress, Shraddha Arya has been experiencing something similar this year since it's her pehla Karwa Chauth.
Shraddha is known as ‘Preeta’ in the daily soap, Kundali Bhagya. She had kept her year-long Navy officer boyfriend, Rahul Nagal, a secret from the world. It was on their hush-hush wedding day when she introduced him as her husband on her Instagram handle. That day, many hearts had broken as Shraddha has been a crush of millions of boys.

On October 13, 2022, Shraddha Arya celebrated Karwa Chauth with the team of Kundali Bhagya, which included Mahira Sharma, Ruhi Chaturvedi and others. For the day, she opted for a neon-coloured lehenga embellished with silver thread-work. Her sleeveless blouse featured a plunging neckline and intricate designs on it. In addition, she wore jhumkas, red chooda and kept her makeup simple.
The best part of Shraddha’s Karwa Chauth look was her customised mehendi design. On the one hand, she had designed the initial of her hubby, Rahul, and on the other hand, we could spot a woman standing with a chalni in her hand while watching the moon to end her nirjala fast. Earlier, in an interview with the ETimes, Shraddha Arya was asked about her plans to embrace motherhood. Answering this, Shraddha had said that she and her husband, Rahul are very busy in their professional lives. Thus, they have no plans of becoming parents as of now. It is a long-distance marriage for Shraddha, and she believes that work commitment should not stop them from starting a family, and they would think of becoming parents soon. In her words:
"Both Rahul and I love kids and we will look forward to that new phase in our life soon, but as of now there are no plans. Rahul is very busy with his work and sailing on the sea, while I am busy shooting for Kundali Bhagya. But, I also feel that work should not stop us from expanding our family. We do want to start a family sometime soon in the future. It has been one year since we got married and we both love kids."
