The ever-so-gorgeous actress, Hansika Motwani rose to fame with her acting stint as a child artist in the kid's serial, Shaka Laka Boom Boom. Afterwards, she was seen in Hrithik Roshan's starred film, Koi Mil Gaya, in 2003. However, just after that in 2007, Hansika made her debut as the leading actress in Himesh Reshammiya's film, Aap Ka Surroor, just at the age of 16. This gave rise to speculations that Hansika's mother, Mona Motwani, who is a dermatologist, had given her daughter the hormonal injections to make her look younger. However, refuting all such rumours, Hansika and Mona opened up about the same.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Hansika Motwani's mother, Mona Motwani addressed rumours of her daughter getting hormonal injections from her. Mona mentioned that initially, it used to hurt them a lot. However, Mona also questioned whether this kind of hormonal injection is available in the market. The dermatologist mentioned that if such injections were available, she would have given them on sale and become a wealthy businesswoman. Mona mentioned:
“Initially toh hum logon ko bohot takleef hoti thi. Kitne saal toh humlog bohot chup rahe the. Yaha tak ke aise aise iljam lagaye gaye the hum par ki jaise maine Hansika ko koi injection dia usko bada hone ke liye. Konsa injection hai? Mujhe bata do mein Birla, Tata se mein ameer ho jaungi. Tumko bhi deti hu, inko bhi deti hu and then I’m making money. Which mother can do such thing? Or anything beside kya aisa koi injection hai joh aapki hadiyo ko lamba karde?”

In the same conversation, Hansika Motwani too opened up about the allegations of taking hormonal injections during her childhood. She mentioned that the rumours surfaced in the media again when she was about to tie the knot with the love of her life, Sohael Khaturiya. However, she no longer hides it from social media and lets people write and talk anything about it as the rumours have no truth in it. Hansika added:
“It’s a part and parcel of you being a celebrity. This is something that you have to be ready for. Initially I used to hide stuff from her because I was on social media but this all happened even when social media was not there. So, we were very unaware of people that are talking about all crap that’s written. And then eventually, this came out again and whatever because of my wedding season. So, we were not going to hide it because there’s no truth to it.”
Further, Hansika added how she is extremely scared of needles. This is the reason why she can't even take an injection or get a tattoo done. Thus, taking hormonal injections for her is a big no. She shared:
“I till today can’t take an injection. I can’t get a tattoo done is because I am scared of needles and why would a mother do that to someone? It’s just very clear that people are jealous of your growth but it’s ok. I think I’m doing something somewhere right that people are still talking about me. So, keep talking.”

The actress, Hansika Motwani tied the knot with her best friend, Sohael Khaturiya on December 4, 2022, in a lavish wedding. Hansika and Sohael's wedding took place at the famous 150-year-old palace, Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur. The couple won everyone’s hearts with their respective wedding ensembles. While Hansika donned an embellished red lehenga, Sohael also looked dapper in an ivory sherwani. Since their wedding, Hansika Motwani has constantly been blessing the feeds of her 5.7 million followers on Instagram with cutesy and romantic snippets from her happy married life with Sohael Khaturiya.
