Hansika Motwani is one of the most famous actresses in the entertainment world. The diva rose to fame with her stint in the serial, Shaka Laka Boom Boom. The actress also starred in Hrithik Roshan's iconic movie, Koi Mil Gaya. And it was in 2017, when at the age of 16, Hansika bagged the offer to act in the lead role in Himesh Reshammiya's film, Aap Ka Surroo. Bagging such a big role at such a young age raised many eyebrows about Hansika and gave birth to speculations about the diva's dermatologist mom, Mona Motwani, giving the former hormonal injections to make her look younger.
Earlier, in several interviews, Hansika opened up about the rumours about her taking hormonal injections and cleared off all the buzz. And now, in a recent interview, Hansika revealed that although such rumours didn't affect her, but her mom was quite affected by the same.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Hansika was asked if the rumours about her taking hormonal injections have affected her. To this, the actress revealed that she was not bothered by such stories. Talking more about the same, Hansika stated:
"I don’t remember getting bothered by it, I was fine with it because if you were talking about me I must be really important to you."
Further, in the interview, Hansika Motwani was asked if her mom, Mona Motwani was affected by such rumours. To this, the actress stated that her mom was affected by such rumours, but she never showed it as she was protecting her daughter. Elaborating more on the same, the diva shared:
"I think it did but she never showed it to me because she was protecting me. But if you are on a public platform, it stops bothering you.”
In the concluding segment of the interview, Hansika Motwani shared that facing rumours is a part and parcel of an actor's life. The diva shared that if she is taking praise in both hands, then she should be able to face criticism as well. Hansika also said that she is getting better at dealing with all these day by day. The actress said:
"If I am taking appreciation from both hands, then I have to learn to take negativity with both hands because it’s part and parcel of my job but I don’t get affected by it. Over the years I have become thicker about it."

Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Hansika Motwani's mother, Mona Motwani talked about the rumours of her daughter getting hormonal injections from her. She stated that initially, such rumours used to hurt them a lot. However, Mona also questioned whether this kind of hormonal injection is available in the market. She also said if they were available, she would have given them on sale and become wealthy.
