Hansika Motwani Shares FIRST Post After Her Divorce With Businessman, Sohael Khaturiya, '... Always'

Actress, Hansika Motwani and her estranged husband, Sohael Khaturiya have been hogging the limelight for the past few days. For the unversed, the duo recently got divorced. Hansika and Sohael tied the knot in 2022, in a lavish wedding in Jaipur; however, they soon started facing issues. Well, now the actress has shared her first post after the painful separation.

On March 12, 2026, Hansika Motwani took to her Instagram handle to share the first post after her divorce with Sohael Khaturiya. She shared the quote, "Chardi Kala Always" on her Instagram Stories. For those who do not know, it is a Punjabi phrase which means maintaining a state of optimism, high spirits, joy and strength, especially during difficult times. While she did not mention anything about her divorce, it was clear that the actress is going through a tough time but is trying her best to gather strength.

For those who do not know, actress, Hansika Motwani and businessman, Sohael Khaturiya have officially ended their marriage. Their divorce was finalised on March 11, 2026, in the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai. According to their divorce petition, the duo filed for divorce by mutual consent. They stated that their marriage has 'irretrievably broken down'. 

Reportedly, Hansika’s lawyer had revealed that the actress did not demand any alimony for Sohael. If reports are to be believed, the ex-couple had started living separately since July 2, 2024. According to NDTV, the lawyer had shared:

"Our client had initially approached her now former husband seeking an amicable separation, which ultimately culminated in the present decree. The respondent filed his affidavit before the court today, confirming his consent to the dissolution of the marriage. It is pertinent to clarify that our client has made no claims whatsoever for alimony or maintenance, as her sole intention was to bring a dignified and peaceful closure to the marriage."

Coming to the relationship timeline of Hansika and Sohael, the duo tied the knot in December 2022, in a grand and beautiful wedding ceremony held at Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur. While details about their love story are not available, reports claimed that Sohael married his first wife's best friend. 

For the unversed, Sohael was previously married to Rinky Bajaj, who was allegedly Hansika's best friend. When the businessman got married to the actress, it sparked a major controversy on social media. However, the duo had later clarified that they had known each other for years as Hansika was Sohael's brother's friend. If reports are to be believed, Hansika avoided to keep a fast on Karwa Chauth in 2025, allegedly due to their divorce.

Who is Sohael Khaturiya?

Hansika's ex-husband, Sohael Khaturiya is a Mumbai-based businessman, who first grabbed attention after his marriage with the actress. According to a report by Filmibeat, he was born in 1990, and completed his education in business management. Reportedly, he also has a sister named Sakshi. If reports are to be believed, he launched a clothing brand, Avante TexWorld. Later, he also started a business with Hansika.

Coming to Hansika Motwani, she is a well-known actress, who works in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She was born in 1991. She started her acting career as a child artist in Shaka Laka Boom Boom. She rose to nationwide fame when she appeared in the movie, Koi... Mil Gaya. Over the years, she has been part of projects like Kantri, Maska, Aranmanai, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and more.
