The stunning actress, Hansika Motwani is currently enjoying the best phase of her life with her husband, Sohael Khaturiya. The couple got married on December 4, 2022, in a lavish wedding at the Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur. Soon after their wedding, a documentary was released on Disney Plus Hotstar titled Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama. Different episodes of the documentary focus on different ceremonies and gave an insight into the preparations of Hansika and Sohael’s wedding.
In a recent interview with India Today, Hansika Motwani opened up about her past relationship with STR Simbu and also revealed the impact of their breakup on her life. The actress stated that she believes in the concept of love and marriage. However, she also admitted that she isn’t an extremely expressive person but a die-hard romantic. Reflecting on her breakup with STR Simbu, Hansika explained that she took 7-8 years to trust and say ‘yes’ to someone. Sharing details about the same, she said:
"It took me at least 7-8 years to say yes to someone. I believe in love. I am a romantic person but I am not very expressive as a romantic person. I believe in the institution of marriage and believe in love."

Going further in the interview, Hansika Motwani revealed that after her breakup with STR Simbu, she had taken a long gap and wanted someone to make her head-over-heels in love with himself. The gorgeous actress proudly stated that she was lucky enough to find Sohael Khaturiya, who made her believe in the concept of love all over again. While praising her husband for the same, she said:
"To be honest, I took time and wanted to say yes to someone who is going to be my forever. Sohael came along and made sure that I believe in love even more. He made sure that I fell head-over-heels for him and yeah, god had his own way."
It was back in 2013 when Hansika Motwani and STR Simbu confirmed their relationship in public. The couple tweeted about their relationship and left their massive fanbase super-excited for their wedding across the nation. While the couple was spotted partying and attending events together, it was Simbu’s interview in which he admitted that he would soon tie the knot with Hansika. Not only this, but the South Indian actor also added that he would like to have a happy married life like the stunning couple, Ajith Kumar and his wife, Shalini. The interview provided the much-needed fire to their wedding reports.

After dating each other for years and thinking about tying the knot, it was heartbreaking for everyone to see them part ways with each other. Although the exact reason is still unknown, but the majority of the reports and sources hinted at STR Simbu’s growing closeness with his ex-girlfriend, Nayanthara, back in that time. If the reports are to be believed, ex-lovers, Nayanthara and Simbu got close to each other, which was why Hansika broke up with the actor.
