Victoria’s Secret is one of the most prominent luxury brands that has been ruling the market ever since its establishment in 1977. The brand has not only given the world the best sets of luxury lingerie but also gifted the modelling industry with some of the most iconic models like Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima and more. Victoria’s Secret is all set to launch its new lingerie collected ‘Icon’, and the brand took to its social media to post its ad campaign.
The ‘Icon’ ad campaign featured Victoria’s Secret's iconic models, Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bundchen, and Adriana Lima, along with newbies like Sui He, Paloma Elsesser, Hailey Bieber and more. While the audience was delighted to see the icons back wearing Victoria’s angel wings. However, some expressed dislike over Hailey Bieber. Netizens were divided over Hailey Bieber being cast in Vctoria’s Secrets’ Icon collection. Some claimed that Hailey is indeed iconic, while others argued that there is nothing ‘iconic’ in her.

For the unversed, Hailey Bieber is an American model who has previously failed in Victoria’s Secret’s modelling audition. As soon as Victoria’s Secret (VS) uploaded its ad campaign on Instagram, the netizens took to the comment section to express their mixed reaction of the model. While some said that ‘Hailey is my icon’, some questioned what ‘the talentless model like Hailey’ is doing in the campaign. Check out the comments:
The iconic Brazilian supermodel, Gisele Bundchen signed her contract with VS in her teens and subsequently left the brand in 2006. The model took a break from modelling for her kids, and now that they have grown-up, she is back to live her dream. Her fans are all elated with Gisele Bundchen making a comeback into modelling, and that too with VS. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the model said that she has her own dreams to fulfil. She further added:
"I have my own dreams. You want to show your children that, in life, you have to find real fulfillment, not living something that you’re not."

The iconic 90s model, Naomi Campbell is also a part of Victoria’s Secret ‘Icon’ collection. The model took to her Instagram and posted pictures from the ad campaign. She further dropped in a picture with her daughter, Adut Akech Bior, who is also a part of the campaign. Fans were fast to point out how life has come a full circle for Naomi, who debuted her modelling career with VS to her daughter modelling for the same brand. Naomi also wrote in her Instagram post how icons aren’t born but sculpted by their journey. She further added:
"They are all icons, and all have great bodies of work. It was great to be again with Gisele and work alongside her. It was A fun day shooting with my daughter and to be part of the launch of the Icon by Victoria’s Secret a brand I first worked with in the 90’s."
